Original Post by adge1967: Good idea - I pretty much quit that when back in March. The only thing I have now is Coors Light and that is only like 2 a month. Can't wait to be able to really enjoy a beer again. Now I just feel guilt when I have one. |

Original Post by sugarsweet: Oddly enough I don't even have a scale that works. I go into stores to weigh myself... weird I know. I registered for a cool one on the wedding registry. Let's just hope I get in for the shower so I can have it early. I would love to do Friday mornings though... great idea! |

I think friday mornings are good to weigh in. We all know what we weigh now so let's see how Friday goes! I need to get a new scale by then too. I have a question about good scales on another forum. I got one suggestion but am open to others since I have a horrblie scale that everytime I get on it I am a different weight. Not different each day as much as each minute I get on it. |

I use an analogue (dial) scale. It's accurate enough. It doesn't change, and all I have to do is make sure the dial is at 0 when I step on and off in the morning. If it is, I step on and get my reading :). It's just some cheapy brand, it might have been 20 dollars or so. I've had it for about a year, maybe more. |

does this mean i'm not allowed to check my weight everyday? cause I log that in a notebook everyday to help keep track of it all. log my calories, fiber intake, how much exercise, my bmi and nutrition grade cc gave me for the day. i know its silly but its out of habit. i dont have a good memory cause of my fibromyalgia entonces it serves as a quick checkpoint memory checker thingie... yea... |

I check my weight almost religiously everyday, I certainly wouldn't stop now! Just that the 'official' weigh-in would be fridays (maybe).
I suppose those in the group could post their day-to-day weights as well, 'unofficially' XD. Not much to stop you from doing so, really. |

I have a question since I am new. My burn meter today says 1900 calories burned, and my calories I ate today were about 1200. does that mean I have a deficit of 800 for the day? thanks. |

700 :) Still a safe range, I think the ideal is anywhere between 500-1000. |

I say go for it. I think what ever makes you feel like you are on track! My scales sucks. So when I get a new one I'll post my weight friday. I also don't loose anymore then a pound a week. so each day I am looking at the same number

I know, it seems so futile doesn't it? But I need the consistency. Plus it helps reduce night-time eating for me; I know I"ll have to face it in the morning XD. |

thats is cool. Good idea. I bet it does reduce the night time eating. Like right now, I am so wanting some cookies. Debating on if I should go to the gym. but i'm tired, so I'll take a night off. |

Original Post by adge1967: XD Thank goodness there aren't any cookies in the house right now, I seem to be starved! I think it's actually a sign that I should be sleeping now though, cause it's not 'hunger' hunger, y'know? |

I'm in!
medium frame 131(and not in good shape) goal: 122 I lost a lot of weight very gradually over the past couple of years, but lately a few pounds have crept back on. (Probably grad school, stress, and too much sitting). Even more than I need to watch what I'm eating, I need to get to the gym! |

Dude, my deficit for today was 954. I'm losing my will to eat! I'm struggling to eat 1200 calories a day! My boyfriend/best friend joshua was soo mad cause I told him I didnt' feel like eating. He told me he was gonna shove crisco down my throat if I stopped eating. LOL Such love. But I did eat 18 grams of fiber (I usually only eat about 5grams), haven't had a craving for soda in 2 weeks, and I'm eating HEALTHIER. Yay me |

Original Post by cicia: Well I knew I started when my weight wasn't realistic. Probably a little water retention caused by my period, but I'm happy to say that yesterday night I was 72.3 Kg = 159.39 pounds. 3.61 lost 4.39 to go Have a good day everyone Silvia |

I'm going through my time as well, but I don't really think I have much water weight stored up. Didn't notice a jump in the scale... it feels like I've stalled a bit, but that could just be because I'm impatient XD.
Oh well, only a few more days to find out, eh? |
