I need motivation so lets do it together.
erm i forgot to put my stats up so i'll give you the details from a few days ago
- Start weight : 124lb
- current: 121lb
- Goal weight : 112lb's
- chest (underbust) 30
- Waist : 29
- Hips : 30
Why am i here ... ug ... theres a good question ...
Im a proffessional pole dancer and i had an injury a few months ago which required surgery which totally sucked...
during my down time i piled on the pounds ... might not sound heavy but im a perfect example of skinny fat my muscle just evaporated.
ive been turned down for 2 jobs because im too fat and they arn't looking for a chubby dancer, so here i am trying to get the body back i had at christmas (110lb) so i can become employable again ... *sigh*
I was always borderline too out of shape so
- stage one = lose weight and lower my body fat % (get rid of the dreaded belly fat)
- stage two = gain wieght by building some muscles and get sexy haha...
I wanna go back to work looking better than ever !!!!
MONDAY 19th MAY
Starting weight: 126 lbs
Last week: 122 lbs
weight today: 122.6 lbs
but it might not be accurate as my scales changed my weight everytime I stepped on them. This was the result twice, others include 121.8 and 123.4. I need some better scales.
It's Monday! So I had two bad days in a row, but it didn't hurt to much. I am glad todays weight is my weigh in amount. Starting weight on May 4th was 117 lbs.
Weight today is 114.4
( This was a strange weekend) 114.2 on Fri morning, did really bad on Fri and Sat, 116.4 on Sun, had a great day and back down today to 114.4

To my absolute amazement I weighed in at 116 today, that is my absolute lowest ever weight! I'm not sure if I'm a little bit dehydrated though because I know I've not been drinking enough over the weekend. Time will tell I guess but even so, at least I've not put any weight on.

2 lbs lost.

I didn't lose anything really. Its my own fault. I did really good until Thursday - at that point I lost focus and started making excuses to eat poorly and drink too much alcohol. I think I am going to have to pretty much stop drinking altogether for the next month to really see any progress. I drink way too much.

Good job everyone. Let's all stay focused, and do good again this week. This isn't easy, but I know we can all get where we want to be.

SW 123.8 CW 124.6 what gives??? I had a deficit everyday and plenty of exercise. Why is it so darn hard to lose 8 pounds or even 5 for that matter
I just don't get it - I keep my calories around 1200-1300 - exercise of some sort almost everyday and I'm not losing...

Not the best of weekends, and forgot to post my weight yesterday. But I haven't gained any, so am happy with that. Also managed to go for another run (and saw the swans with their cygnets swimming around the dock, so the run was worthwhile!).
Still 168.

bonton I had the same experience last week, after eating right and doing exercise. I was told not to get discouraged, as long as the trend line keeps going down. The weight also went back down after two days, but I know how you feel. So if you went up almost a pound and the trend line (numbers) is still going down, you are still doing great. Hope that makes you feel a little better, it helped me. I am also a Mimi ( Nonna), have a 2 yo grandson, another grandson should be here in another week or so, then a granddaughter coming in Sept. Hooray to Mimi's and Nonna's, keep up the good work. Hope you don't mind, I have added you as a buddy.

I am having the hardest time to break the 130 line. I've been staying around 130.5~131 for few weeks now and would LOVE to see some numbers in 120!

Thanks nursecarels! It just doesn't seem like it should be so hard to lose 8 pounds but it is! I just keep trying and making adjustments to see if something new will work. Are you a nurse? I am a school nurse for the last 26years ...I'm on the second generation I keep saying when we get to the third I better be retired!! LOL Absolutely love being a Mimi!!! I added you as a friend too!
bonton, yes I am a nurse also. It is very hard, but hang in there, we can all do it together. I sent you a message.
Hi everyone. I'm going to do great this week, I know it. Now that I have to weigh in on Mondays, I know everyone will see how I am doing. This will keep me motivated.
Lets cheer eachother on, so far today i have had a 1/2 banana(my son scored the other half) a yoghurt, 1 tbsp of healthy pb and an apple. and in about 15-20 minutes i am having a bowl of bran flakes, 2 tbsp of sun flower seeds and skim milk. thats aroud 600 cal and i need 1300 to lose 10 lbs so just over 600 left. i figured 1 cup carrots and 3 tbsp hummus. salad with chicken breast, no skin and 100cal for my salad dressing. 1/2 cup rice, salsa and olive oil.
I think if i stick to smaller meals more often it might help me lose this fat.
