Weigh Ins are weekly, every Friday.

To Weigh In you will post a message using the following format:
  • Weigh In For __/__ (mm/dd)
  • Current Weight

Chit-Chat is fine. I hope we can all get to know one another and truly give encouragement to one another. If you have any suggestions or comments about the club, please email me and let me know.

Just be sure your weigh ins are in bold so that I won't miss any! If you are weighing in at home on a day other than Friday, please wait until Friday to post your week's weigh in so that I don't miss any.

There may be changes, new challenges, new games, etc. as time goes by. I will always make announcements on this thread header and in a post here, so that it will be noticed, hopefully. :-)

- You must weigh in at least once a month to remain on the member list. If you are going on vacation or there is some reason you will not be able to weigh in for over one month, please email me and let me know.

The Member List shows your starting/current/goal weights the followed by how far you are from your goal. I've broken the list into categories by weight to lose before you reach your goal. Once you reach your goal, you will be moved to the Maintenance area of the list and you may then weigh in as often or little as you'd like, just please try to keep it on Fridays.

Question for the Week - I work out 6 days a week. I take Fridays off to have a few beers. I alternate 30 - 40 mins of cardio with 30 mins of weights followed by 20 min. pilates video.  About 5 hours a week total.

    Question of the week~ I only manage to work out a few times a week. (actually started this week)

    Monday- 12 min jump rope

    Tuesday- 40 min run/walk intervals

    Wednesday- 30 min ellip

    thursday- nothing yet today but planning on doing a 30 min cardio later(actually did 10 min w/weighted hula hooping)

    friday- 30 min cardio dvd

    I will see how well saturday and sunday go.

    Still haven't gotten back on track with working out unfortunately. My job has been very hectic, and this week in particular has been hellish! So afterwards I don't want to workout XD Oh well.

    45lbs to go for my goal! I'm about halfway there from where I started, woo.

    weigh in for 18/08: 111lbs

    No loss this week. But I have upped my calorie intake and eaten a lot more food since I was only eating around 500 cal a day, so I'm surprised I haven't gained weight! Ive also started my work out DVD again, I used to whip through it but I haven't done it in a month at the least so was very out of breath by the end of it!! Will have to keep it up!

     

    Anyone want to join me in buddying up to help to keep exercising?

    First week down on going the right way. Ok so I know this is the water that i'm getting rid of but at least the weight is going downwards. What a shame it wont keep on  like this every week. Oh well ho hum i'm more than happy for it to drop to 1-2lbs per week if I can keep it offSmile

    Weigh in for 1/18:

    Current weight is 140.  Down 1 pound since the last weigh in. 

    I try to work out almost every day, with a break on Saturday or Sunday (or sometimes both).  I alternate each day with time on the elliptical and pilates/resistance band work/weights.  I try to shoot for at least 30 minutes of exercise.  Sometimes I split that up into 15 minute segments if my schedule is really horrid.  I'm a school teacher and I've started bringing my resistance band to school to use while my kids are at recess :-).  So far I've only been able to use it once, but its nice to have it available just in case :-)
