i'll commit to 30 min a day. I'm sure I'll do more than that but that's what I'm saying minimum.
So we weigh in either friday or saturday right? So I can weigh both days and pick the number I like better? haha sounds good to me.
and don, i'm in norcal so we are in the same time zone. I'll be giving the walking totals to chris so I'll probably total them all sat night or sun morning and give them to chris to make sure everyone had a chance to give them to me.

KT when we get all the "commit" goals u wanna make a tracker for the week? thought it miight be a cool idea for everyone to see where we r at, and since we are a team we can watch out for eachother........how cool would it be if we went way over our commit goal!!!!
ha ha man do i never shut up.......ok at the end of the day whoever does not have a goal we will automatically put down 30 min for them.......??? sounds good i hope :)

Ok, I have been reading some of the posts from all the teams so these comments are not directed at anyone person.
Your STARTING WEIGHT for this week will be the ORIGINAL starting weight that you guys gave me, so you will be getting credit for TWO WEEKS of weightloss.
For the walking challenge, only PURPOSEFUL walking that actually raises your heart rate will count! So walking to the bathroom, to the car, up the stairs (unless purposely and repeatedl for exercise), walking in the mall (unless power walking) do not count. Walking at work does not count. Walking on a treadmill, intense walking in place in front of the t.c. and going out for purposeful exercise walking do count though. The purpose of the challenge is to get you a little out of your comfort zone... to go that extra mile for your team.
Oh, and just so you know I am not ignoring you between the hours of 7 am and 5 p.m eastern time... I'm at school. lol. But I will be out by May 29th.

that makes sense. I still count my walking to/from teh bar as "walking" b/c it's not my normal daily activity. I'm walking instead of driving and I do it to burn a few extra calories so I'm counting it! haha
that would be intentional walking, cause ur walking not driving!! hugzzzzz
Am I the only one nosey-ing around the other teams??? Lol I peaked in on the greyman's team (I think 3) and they're posting some serious early AM numbers. I'm going to kick some butt watching Dancing with the Stars in front of my treadmill tonite. Pooh on them!!!
lol aagain great minds think alike!! ive been reading the others too!! i walk tonight at 7 at the trck usually for an hour but i may have to push it up to longer!!!!

yes running counts!!! It is the same thing as walking at a faster pace so u are good!!!
That is what I thought as well, but I don't want anyone to think we are cheaters....LOL I am going running right after work at 8. I am going to try to walk/run twice a day. So that should help out the team.....I am PUMPED!!! WOO FREAKING HOO!!!!! 8)
