Clean Eating Challenge
Ok, there seems to be a mysterious condition going around that is causing sabotage to our eating. I know I'm not alone here when I admit that my eating this past little while leaves a lot to be desired, causing slight weight gain after such hard work to lose it.
I also know, that I am the same person who was practically flawless in my eating for like almost 90 days straight, so I know I can get ahold of this - who's with me??
There is no deadline for sign-ups, anyone can join at any time!!
All you have to do is check in once a week (at least) & let us know how you're doing. If/when you "cheat", simply let us know & I will restart your start date.
A cheat is defined as whatever a cheat would mean to you personally, whether it be going over your calories, bingeing, not eating enough, too many treats, etc. We all know when we've cheated, so just be honest with yourself
Let's be honest with each other & keep each other eating clean k? The PRIZE to the winner? Well that's easy - weight loss!!!!!!!!! (or maintenance for those at that stage!) Let's do this!

clean day. not hard though since i'm having trouble reaching my alotted cals with all these constant stomach pains. so no real temptations honestly.
walked to the gym to see it was closed on holiday today but i still got 40 minutes exercise in by walking around my city.

ohhh this challenge is SO going to be cake for me. I've been dieting for over 9 months and have yet to binge on anything :oP So IM GOING TO WIN! :o)
Of course I'm double challenging myself and not allowing myself any 'out' foods, including my precious subway or applebees. So this is going to be a toughy. All home prepaired meals!
After this month, if i stick to clean eating as I have defined for myself, I'm going to get a HAIR CUT and color with bangs. Its going to be so weird on me but for some reason thats what I want. If anyone knows of any cute hair styles with bangs please please send them my way :o)

So far so good today, & I plan on keeping it that way. yesterday paid off already with 1.4 of my gain this last week already gone. Just 0.2 more to be back to where I was last with last week's weigh in.! I'll be there tomorrow!

I think I would use one of those hair style editor programsot see what it looks liek first, jsut incase it didnt' suit me. Pick up a hairstyle mag at the drugstore, they have one that has like all these little square pics of different cuts/styles and you can pick from there! Great reward!

well i made it to 3:16pm day one.... so hmm.

so i did good today - very very clean, healthy food. over by 57, but i am not really gonna gripe about that :D apricots are nice :D
I'm in good shape with dinner still to come. Had some oatmeal with raspberries for breakfast, some homemade bread and 2 mini milky ways for a snack (gotta get my chocolate fix, even just a little bite!), and leftover tofu pad thai for lunch. I have room for 400-450 calories for dinner, so I'm thinking about making black bean soup. Logging again is great! I love accountability!
So far so good. I have not binged that is huge for me. I am going to make it to the end. My wedding Aniv is May 28 can I have a freebie that day. We always go out 8 years.

I remembered, I have a function to attend on May 19th - I hope this day can be an exception for me. I will be seeing family I haven't seen for more than a year - a birthday party for my aunt - so I do plan to eat things I normally wouldn't.

Hey all, I guess there's some qeustions about exceptions - like bdays, anniversaries, special events, etc. I think the rule of thumb is this: You know if you're going overboard on something, we all know that line, right?? Pretty much with watchign what we eat, anything is allowable as long as it's in moderation. So use your better judgement. If it's a one-time meal, and you dont' go into it thinking "I'm gonna eat everything I see! & lots of it", then you're ok. Do you all agree???? Just be honest with yourself. You may end up eating more than normal, and that's ok. But just make it a one time thing for that occasion. All agreed? or no?

As far as celebrating your anniversary, I would guess that if it's just for the one meal you go out for and you go way over your cals, that'd be ok, what does everyone else think? Just eat great for that day b4 you go & get right back at it in the morning!!

chanb73 - I think there's a difference between going competely off your diet & and just having things you dont' normally have. Just don't go overboard on anything is all. Just like I said to Chan07, do good till then, that day, then get back at it in the morning.

well , i lost 3.5lb since last wednesday...i'm sure my wt loss will slow down as the weeks roll by...but i have been very good since this challenge started :):) i am going to see friends in florida May 23-27 and already told them i have to be good while i am there!! Going on a cruise in june so we'll discuss cruise rules later!!!!! :):)

I had a squesky clean day yesterday! Goal was 1250-1450 cals - Final: 1297.
I've lost 1.5 lbs since Sunday - pobably water - but loss - I'll take it.

hey! I want in, too :) I'm really not sure how long I'll last though, I'm pretty consistently eating too much so it should be interesting.
So far today I've done alright. I had a bag of elfin crackers unexpectedly but cut out some other stuff from my preplanned menu to sub. It's my t.o.m. so food is really calling my name... pretty hungry b/c of it. ugh.
My worst times are the weekends but I did alright last weekend and hope to do good again soon!
Eating too much of stuff is my absolute hardest thing to overcome!!
