150's group...daily updates
Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...
I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.
Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....
Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

OK..i'm so excited. Sunday I started my CC 151 I been focused all week. No pop! Real big deal for me not having that Dr. Pepper fix. Portion control. Love cheetoo's and chocolate. Didn't have the chocolate had to have the cheetoo's (half serving, 14 of them ,yummo 3 times this week, hehehe) ok so this morning decided to weigh myself. Oh my goodness 149 popped up. WOW! for a whole year I been stuck at 151. These tools on this webiste are awesome. You guys are awesome!!!! Love the posts. I can't say enough of how inspiring you all are.
Hi everyone, I am new to this site & was feeling really stuck with my weight & thought maybe reading some of the posts would motivate me. Well, it has. I have been exercising every day, treadmill, step classes, for at least an hour with little progress. I haven't gone over 1200 cals in a week & no food after 7:30-nothing! Only lost 1lb so far.....why....I'm so frustrated! Just stick w/it I guess?
jmsauger- ya know now that you mention it I do always loose more the following week. I guess I have something to look forward to. I also get the munchies like you but, it's more of a chocolate craving and I usually satisfy it with a bowl or 2 of chocolate cereal to avoid the fat.

hey everyone there is a sign up sheet for a February exercise challange in the GAMES forum! This is another great way for us to stay motivated. I would encourage everyone to pick whatever number minutes (to exercies in Feb.) that is reasobale and try to stick with it!
I'm on the Green Team for the 12 week Biggest Looser Challenge in the Weight Loss forum. Anyone else doing this????

I do jazzercise too and just love it. It's so fun.
It's the only workout I've ever found that I don't find torturous.
I highly recommend everyone to try it if you like to dance.

I went home that night and danced around with my MP3 and headphones for an hour. A weird kind of combination of dancing and old moves I remembered from aerobics classes years ago. I strapped my wrist and ankle weights on (10 lbs total) and just kept moving for an hour.
The next day I had a business lunch, and that's the worst combo for me....restaurant food and someone else is paying. Usually I can't resist something fried or covered in cream sauce. I had a salad without dressing!
Today I weigh 158.8 so I'm back in the 150's again. Yay!

poohct- I am from Kansas, I have been going to Jazzercize for a few months and I love it. It's like being on the dance squad in high school all over again! What is funny is that we all do the same routines to the same songs. I could go to your Jazzercize class and fit right in, and vice versa. Every once in awhile I'll hear a Jazzercize song on a T.V. commercial or in a video and I can't get the Jazzercize routine out of my head. Where are you from?
megan- I'm from Connecticut. I've been doing it for a few years now. It's so fun. I have to say I started very uncoordinated and I've gotten so much better. I miss it so much on the days I don't go. It so balanced too...cardio, stretch, strength training.

hey everyone- im usually at 150-152 ish.. hoping to get to 135-140.. Good Luck Everyone :)
I am down to 151 today! The support here is amazing and I get excited to see what everyone has written, because half the time it is what I am struggling with. Any recommendations for toning at the gym without using the scary machines? I have a medium build and don't want man arms! Four pounds down and can't wait to see what else will drop in the upcoming weeks. I hope to be in the 150 club for another week! Thanks for all of your great inspirational stories.

congratulations! Don't be afraid to ask one of the muscle-ey men about the machines--they will probably be willing to answer a question or two. Most universal machines have instructions printed on the machine with a pic so you get the idea of how to use it. Don't worry, you can't get man arms-you don't have enough testosterone for that--but muscle building speeds up your metabolism, so don't shy away from it!

Thanks Dee. I drag my boyfriend with me to help out too, guess it's something I just need to get over. I weighed myself this am and after a night of fried calamari, yum...i indulged a teeny bit and drinks, michelob ultras and vodka seltzers I am down to 150! I am so motivated now, I think I might actually go to the gym and go on all of the machines!!! Good luck everyone we can do it!
well i started at 152 and now im at 150.4... that was a nice drop! except when we got home last night i decided to have a bowl and a half of cereal... kind of frustrating considering i was doing great yesterday... but i still was under my caloric intake goal of 1400. i started out today struggling a little bit but im hoping i have things under control.
When i get the munchies or just feel like i am hungry (when I know i am not), I often make sugar free apple cider (15 cal only) or no sugar added hot chocolate (15 cal also) or just try to get a nice glass of ice water. anyone else try this? if not... do! it works sometimes!

Frustrated! I have only been doing half the work (eating healthy, not really exercising) this week and guess what???? It shows. I haven't lost any weight in 5 days which is not typical for me :( I really need to stay focused. I'm starting the Master Cleanse Lemonade Diet today to try to help eliminate the toxins from my system. I've tried this before but can't seem to make it past the second day. They say after 3 days you have tons of energy and feel great but, I have yet to get there.

beware of liquid diets--you can do more harm to yourself than good. I just takes patience, and you can do it. I have been staying at 150 for a couple of weeks now, but I know that it will start to come off again (the weight that is :)
Stick with health eating and exericise--and forgive your body when it doesnt do what you want it to--because you would easily forgive others for having a chocolate chip cookie, wouldn't you? Be as kind to yourself as you are to others.

Thanks Dee, I made it to lunch time and am eating some chix noodle soup, pepsi and baked lays! I really like to eat. I posted something about the master cleanse diet and got an interesting response from united2gether about how detox diets may not be so good for you. I never heard that before so I definetly want to do some research before trying a detox diet now. And your right- I would forgive somebody for eating a choc chip cookie! I forgive myself and am commited to putting in 1500 min of exercise this week.
Ops! I made a mistake on the above post- I meant 420 min of exercise this week! lol- I was thinking of the 1500 min I signed up for the Feb exercise challenge. Silly me.

Hi, I just joined Calorie - Count saturday, and wondered if i might join this group? I just typed in my info on my profile, if you would like to check it out? I weighed in at 158.5 this morning :) looking forward to maybe some inspiration to lose this last 23 lbs, or so... and am TRYING hard to get my water intake up.. i dont have a problem drinking about 32 oz a day, but shoud be drinking something like 72 - 80??

poohct- i share your pain. i'm begining to think my scale is broken. it measured me at 61% body fat this morning and i have been measured at about 39% for the last few weeks and have lost weight....so-something must be amiss. I'm hoping the lbs are off as well as the fat :)
anybody have any plateu advice ? i need some.
