getting married in Oct, need some help staying on track! 20 lbs to lose!

Finally (lol) my bf and I have decided to get married. We are just going to do a civil ceremony for now, and keep it quiet. But i would like to be a bit thinner for pics, loose the softening chin which crept up the last 30 lbs. I am hoping that 20 lbs in the next 3 1/2 months is not over reaching, i will be doing strength and cardio to tone my arms so they at least dont look to jiggly. In total i have about 80 lbs to lose, but for now i am just trying for the 20 (and hey ill be a 1/4 there!).

I am 240ish, 5'7" 38DDD/E/F (i need another bra fitting  lol)

i am eating between 1400 and 1800 calories, and trying to strength train 4 days and cardio 4 days (one day off, im doubling up a few days lol) at least 30 min. I need to work up to more like 60, but im out of shape and cant yet lol.

Im looking for Oct brides and friends that have over 20 lbs to lose!

 

I just entered my goal into CC... my aim is 1300 calories, i think that includes exercise too... i hope so at least! lol

well i didnt do so well over the weekend. We went to my favorite italian restaraunt n had a few drinks.... so im not going to step on the scale again for a few days... let all the excess sodium flush out. We went shopping for most of yesterday with my MIL-to-be... does irritation burn calories? lol she drives me crazy lol, its gotta burn something extra lol.

Tonight my son is staying at his great grandparent w MIL (she is leaving tomorrow to go home to Ohio) and comming home tomorrow. So i can get in a good workout without trying to plan it around him. Maybe ill go for a good swim AND do my circuit training.

 Woowoo 13 lbs to go... lol unless i really went crazier than i thought over the weekend! Then it might be more like 14, but i dont think i ate 3500 calories over mantinence tho.

The scale still shows a gain of 2 lbs... but i think it might still be water weight, i didnt drink as much as i should yesterday... only 2 glasses. I didnt go for a swim yesterday, and probably not for a couple days (not til i get a bathing cap, im refreshing my haircolor today and dont want it to rinse out in the pool). But theres always my vids and the stairs around the apt complex! And maybe tonight ill go to the little wight room and get on the elliptical machine for 45 min or so. Sat i think we are going to a party, and ill be dancing like crazy so i know ill get a good burn then! lol!... tho actually i dont really think i will, its really hot where we are going so i cant dance more than a few min before having to stop... hmmmm, and with water being $3 a bottle :'( ill be rationing mine. Well theres no alcohol and no food (except for candy) in the place, so at least i know ill be good. We are also going out friday night, but thats to a bar... going to have to work out my strategy for keeping within my calories... plus a few extra since ill be up longer (i think an added 150), and definelty try to get some added exercise... stair climbing and the elliptical i think, for a total of an hour and 15 min.

breakfast; 6 oz yogurt, 1c fruit salad (231)

lunch; homemade tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwich (made w pam not butter) (364)

dinner; eggplant pizza, 1c mixed raw veggies w 1T ranch (584)

snack; 1/3c curry chicken salad, 1 slice dry toast (225)

total: 1504

Keep at it. Even a little exercise adds up over time. Try to add some strength training to your workout. Two to three times a week is all you need.

And most importantly, it is important to mix it up once in a while. Dancing is good too.
