A big shout out to my girls from the "Lose 10 lbs by date, 2008" post. ( : Since starting that post, I am down almost 18 lbs.

edit to add: snappish -- saw your shin pain fitness post. new shoes????? are you wearing old ones not suited to the new activities? I was is the onyl reason I ask... I started walking last summer in flipflops.... duh. just a thought
I didn't get any cardio done yesterday. Only some abs crunch, plank and push ups that I managed to get in between everything else. Though I did chase my son all around the store yesterday. Really, 2 hours for grocery. That's just too much. Breath in, breath out.....
Anyway, I will do better today. I am dragging him to swim today literally, so hopefully I get some cardio in as well.

Hey ladies. I bought new undies today and they are big. Today I am a medium butt!
LOL sorry just can't ever remember wearing anything smaller than large.
I did 30 minutes elliptical this morning. Then ran my butt off at work. Was going to do more elliptical but I'm pooped out. Kids just saw our bunny. They are so excited. Now to get all 3 of them to agree on a name.
Calories are way under today. Didn't I brake 1000. Work was to crazy to sit. no break. Lots of water and my leftover stir-fry standing up.
I'm gonna plant my butt on the couch and watch a movie with the kids.
immom - Yahoo.... for smaller size.
Get hubby and son to swim today. Well, they went tubing and I did my 5K (walk/jog) and swim. Overall I managed to get in about 100 min total. Yeah !!!
hhmm, snappish. and they just started hurting.....? that is worrisome. did you do anything that aggravated them to that pain point?

I was bored, laid out, and got pretty crispy burnt, SO I am taking my rest day today and trying not to cry as I sit here. (dummy -- getting burnt)

Lets see this weekend was pretty successful... I would totally love to invest more time Wogging, as it is really truly something I love to do, I realize this everytime I am outside wogging. I think it's an amazing feeling, almost as though I am free. Love the mind set it gives me when I am so in tune with what's on my mind and the music playing in my ears. It's amazing!!!
But I don't have much time to myself - having 2 boys & a failing marriage, leaves me with little time to go wogging. The boys don't enjoy walking and wogging as much as I hope they would, but maybe we can change that as they are growing into young men.
Anyway - with this being said, I successfully meet my exercise challenge this weekend. And I must admit, wogging when angry is much more productive. haha!!!
Happy Monday - happy to report that TOM's evil weight gain is gone ( even a little more ) even though he isn't gone yet. So this week should be great on the weightloss front... Wish me luck girls!!!
I weighed on Friday but did not have time to post while at work then my home computer decided to act wierd......anyway....
Friday I weighed 132.1; this morning (Monday) I weighed 133.
I know better than to weigh myself on a Monday. The brew pub my husband and I frequent has a new wheat beer with pomagranate....yum and so healthy. Could be the reason for the difference because I wanted to be sure to ingest that pomagranate...lol. Eventhough we visited the pub I ate a healthy vege pizza and did well with eating the rest of the weekend. I even tried my mother-in-laws pickled beets.....I cannot believe I am saying this but they were wonderful.

EDIT: Forgot my weekend workout....went to the gym on Saturday (rode bike, 3 miles total). I lifted weights and did the elliptical for 7 minutes. The bike ride takes about 10 minutes each way. Sunday I cleaned house and took dogs for a short walk... it was hot outside. Played with my 2year old twin nephews at a family bbq. I did watch what I ate and just drank iced tea and water.

I just got off my elliptical and my body is vibrating. I went hard for 30 minutes. 5 miles in 30 minute! Don't know if thats good for other people but it is killer for me! I've never pushed so hard!

I am working up the go to get out there and jog/ride the bike after burning my skin, DUH, idiot. (lol)

The elliptical is my WOC while at school. Since I'm too cheap to pay for a gym membership, I'm reduced to running outside for the summer, lol. But I like it more anyway :).
So I was getting kind of discouraged because I was stuck on 152.6 for almost a week, but then I was down to 152.4 yesterday, and today I jumped down a whole pound to 151.4! Whoo!!
I've been really slacking on my exercise lately. I think getting into more of a routine is what I need now to jump start my weight loss again...or at least that's what I was thinking up until this morning. But I still think it's a good idea, so I'm going to try to drag my lazy butt out of bed every morning this week and go for a run before it's 90 degrees outside.

Olivia is your burn feeling any better? Don't hurt yourself.
Carrie- My WOC is running outside but I'm stuck with my elliptical for now. I don't have a babysitter that can watch my kids early in the morning before it's too hot.

Great job on the weight carrie, It I could find a elliptical somewhere to use I would have a gym membership either.
immom, wow, you rock, 3o mins. on ellip. I broke leg last August in 2 places and still working with it to build it up. I can do 10-15 easy and doing some leg presses for leg. Taking so long to recover from this.
I weigh in today with the dietitian I started with a week ago. On monday I was down 5lbs so hope to see a drop today . I have such a long way to go. Let you know how it goes.
