How often do you jump on the scale?

Just thought I'd throw this out there for fun!  How often you do you all check your scales?

I have been working out and watching my diet for almost 3 months now and have only checked the scale twice - once when I started and once last month.  

I almost have a phobia about checking because I don't want to disappoint myself.  Of course, I know this is silly because how else would I check my progress....but...it's still nerve wracking!  Sometimes it's nice just to "imagine" I'm close to where I want to be! Smile

I check my weight weekly on the same day and time while wearing the same amount of cloths using the same scale. The first six weeks that I started to get healthy I didn’t lose a single pound. However I also check my fat % once a week with skin fold calipers and they showed that my fat % dropped by 2%, which means that I lost 8 pounds of fat and gained 8 pounds of mussel. So my point is don’t trust the scale alone. Got to a health store and buy a skin fold caliper and check your fat % weekly.

Twice per day on work out days.  Once right before and once right after.  If I lost too much during the workout, then I drink extra fluids that day and try to drink more before the next workout.

I used to weigh every day when I would go on "diets,"  this past year that I have changed my eating habits though, I only got on a scale a few times, and usually only if I had to at doctor's.  I just went by the mirror and clothes.  It was always a nice suprise to see how much the numbers went down after long periods.  After joining this site, I have been weighing every week now.

every weekday morning, unless I'm somewhere else!

Don't bother in the weekend.
