I'm looking for a 130/120 club, but I don't see any topics started.

If anyone knows of the proper topic, would you mind letting me know?

Thank you :)

I thought the club was for people who are or who want to be in the 120s/130s.  Liz, if you are aiming for somewhere in that region then you should definitely be in it!  Stokes, I'm in the same boat, I went below 120 and probably won't post my stats.  But I can encourage other people!
Hey there, I just joined calorie-count, and I'm hoping to regain my athlete's body that I had back in high school/early college, which was a muscular 122 lbs.  I'm 5'7", small frame, and currently weigh about 132 lbs.  About 3 years ago, I actually weighed around 148 lbs after the standard drinking and late night mexican binges when I was in college.  I was able to lose about 20 lbs last year by just cutting out fast food and running again, then regained 5 this year since starting work in an office and having to cut down my activity level from "rigorous" to "light/sedentary" (shudder).

I'm hoping to tone up and trim down, and I'd love to use this group as a forum for getting through the last stretch to reach my former glory.  Do any of you have advice about being active in an office environment or getting back abs after falling off the wagon?
kbaer, ugh, keeping active in an office environment is one of the many on-going threads around this website.  It's hard!  I end up walking to the bathroom every half hour or so just to move my legs.  Drink a lot of water to get me up out of my chair.  Also, I do stretches a couple times a day.  Then after work I hit the treadmill and run until I get all my stored up energy out, and do yoga to get the kinks out.
Remember everyone:  Tomorrow is weigh in!  As promised, I'll attempt to keep a chart of everyone's progress again  Look what it did for some people like Stokesreagan!

see you tomorrow.  Liz
I'm so glad to find a group of 130/120 people! I feel like i don't have the right to complain about my weight, especially since my twin sister weighs 25 pounds more than me. I'm 21, 5'6, and 136 pounds but i want to get back to my highschool weight of about 120. I had a baby in july of 06 and i'm back to what i weighed right before but it doesn't look as good as it did then! lol I can't afford to buy new clothes so i need to fit into all my prebaby/college clothes. I have been counting my calories and trying to go for more walks and its been going good so far! My husband and my sister are the one who actually need to lose weight but i have to motivate them. Being their motivation helps me! I just need you guys to keep me accountable with this. I've never in my life tried to lose weight and i love food!

Thanks and good luck to all of you!
I am definitely tagging this forum! I am 29, 5'5", and currently 135. My goal is 127. I have been working out hard core for months now, and can not get my weight below 135. I eat 1200-1300 cals a day and exercise 6 days a week for 30-45 minutes and really can't do any more (time wise). I think my metabolism has really slowed down and it's just going to be harder to lose weight as I get older. Ugh! I am frustrated and hopefully logging into the forum will help! Good luck to everyone!
Wed. May 23 weigh-in:

Here is the 5/23 weight log.  Next time you will have an entry in the "new loss column as well.  Good luck for next week.  Liz

Thanks for keeping this up, Liz! Hopefully it will keep us all motivated! :)
gril4moon-The motivation on this forum certainly helped me! Weighing in twice a week (I kept a Saturday weigh-in date as well) helped me stay accountable for my actions during the week and weekend. I lost about 30 lbs in less than 4 weeks. To date, I am still losing. I lost a pound last week. I'm done from over 140 lbs six months ago to 111 lbs. currently. I feel great, I look great, and I owe most of my success to the people here for keeping me on track.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone drop large amounts of weight here!!!

And thanks for all you've done, Liz!! If you'd ever like help with the weekly charts (feeling ill, doctor appts., and such), just let me know. I'd love to help any way I can!!

Have a great week everyone!
So I am feeling pretty lousy right now--I ate like there was no tomorrow over Memorial Day weekend. It was like I was never even on a diet. I ate cookies, ice cream, cream cheese, hamburgers, and beer---lots and lots of beer. And now, I weighed my self when I woke up this morning and I gained 4 pounds!!!! Yes, 4 pounds in 2 days!!! This is awful! So I am about to work out now (I didn't at all over the weekend) and get back on track. I tried to log my calories, and one day I ate about 2700 calories. That's 1400 more than usual. I hope that I'm just retaining water or something.

Anyway, I just wanted to vent. Boot camp--here I come!
Hello, I am 5'2" and when I started my diet I was 167lbs. I lost down to about 135 and got stuck going from 131-135 for months and months. Then When I found this site I realized I was proabably eating too few calories and I started counting. Well it has been about 3 weeks and I am down to 126! I am so excited and happy that I found you ladies. I couldnt do it without you.
Tomorrow's weigh in is scaring me--I hope I am just bloated and haven't gained any over the binging weekend!
girl4moon:  don't worry...whatever the weight is tomorrow.  We all have setbacks on holidays.  Just look forward to the coming week when you can lose those 4 lbs again.  To gain 4 lbs, one must consume  14000 cal total (3,500 cals per lb).  I doubt you did that.  Just having a totally full stomach adds weight.  Hang in there, I didn't do much better.  We'll both do better next week.  Liz

starting fresh with the chart, hoping to get down ti the goal soon:)
