Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...

I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.

Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....

Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

so i think my love-hate relationship with my scale is in its love stage.. after weighing myself numerous times the beautiful scale told me i was 153.5... 1.5 lbs down 13 to go... i think i can i think i can ....  back to the subject of pain... did my slim in 6 again... no so bad this time but still bad... im going to work out at the guym today and then work out at home...

Well, I've convenced myself to only step on the scale once a week. So my weight for this week is 156... not to bad, almost halfway through the 150's!
I'm glad to see that overall everyone is doing good. See you next week!

What a lost weekend...my parents were here...out to dinner...had to cook a nice dinner and dessert for them and of course...eat it.  I think I did okay though down .2 lbs...better than gaining.  Did the 6 am jazzercise and have the water lined up today.  Have dinner out tonight with my friends...mexican...very hard to be good there.  I will be good today to prep for it.  They have an awesome veggie fajita...maybe I'll do those and try to not be a complete pig...

Off to put my house back in order now that the company is gone...so much laundry!

meesam- i hear so much good stuff about slim in 6 from this site.  keep me posted and let me know in 6 weeks how good it really is.

waterphoenix-  i'm moving into that once a week category too!  i got sick and know i gained back a few lbs so i'm not getting on the scale for a bit.  it actually feels less stresfull not weighing in everyday :)

poohct-  that veggie fajita sounds good!  i love mexican food.

Ok, my scale said 154 this morning--at least it's down from 155 last week.  i have done nothing that resembles exercise the last two days--im really hoping that tonights basketball game gets cancelled so I can go home and work my extra large butt off!  waterwaterwater

thank you planner and ltlmsmfft :) i am overly critical about my clothes, coming from wearing big baggy shirts and stretch pants, ya know...  thanks for the compliments ..

okay so my scale definitely loves me today :) 152 :) thats down a whole lb :) all i could think when i stepped on it, was WOW :)  gotta get my kids off to school.. then exercise, then hit the stores..

Well, I sure thought I'd be saying goodbye yesterday... I was positive I'd be joining to 140 group... I was wrong!

well i have finally found a way to get my calories up to 1200 a day without having to force myself to eat when i'm not hungry!!!!!  i just entered and logged my enzyme diet stuff along with my snacks and what i'll have for dinner tonight and guess what?????  it gets me to 1200!  since i've started on this website i've been logging my food and was very suprised to find most days i was only consuming @ 820 cal a day eating 3 full meals.  now i'm not a firm believer in "you must consume at least 1200 cal a day" but i'll give almost anything a try.  the problem was i was full and did not want to eat food that i wasn't hungry for therebye teaching myself to overeat.  i think the thing that really gets the calories up is the skim milk i mix with the chocolate enzyme powder.  it calls for 8oz but, i usually do 16 oz because i realllllly like milk.  (skim)  this also switches me from 3 bigger meals a day to 6 small meals.  i'll keep you guys posted and let you know how this is working in a few weeks.

Im stuck at 150.5 for the past week. I exercise daily and my calorie intake is around 1200 each day.

Well, maybe I just have to be patient.

carabo- maybe you are putting muscle on????  slim in 6 is an exercise program that comes with different dvd's (walking, strengthening) and i think it comes with a diet plan as well.  it's very popular with the users on this site so it's probably pretty good.

just for fun.....i decided to log what i was eating/drinking on a typical day before Jan 8th and OMG!!!!  i was pretty depressed so i was eating fast food 2 times a day and some sort of frozen dinner thing loaded with fat, candbars for snacks, tons of beer and soda etc. soooooooo i was consuming an average of 4200 cal a day with about 182 grams of fat a day!!!!!!!  no wonder i'm overweight.  i know i was eating poorly but i was still kinda shocked the the numbers!  logging that has really made me feel better about the choices i've made since then :)

OMG-  i just looked at the sodium intake from the old eating habits...i was consuming over 6000 mg of sodium a day.  boy have i made some radical changes!  now i'm at about 1000 per day.

Yay for you!  Its good to see how far you have come, from eating fast food and making poor food choices to watching what you eat and choosing healthy foods.  Keep up the good work!

whooohooo ltlmsmfft :)  congrats on making better choices..  i was the opposite.. i was barely getting a little over 800 calories a day before i joined cc.. now i get anywhere from 1200 - 1500  a day :) 

carabo - maybe increase your caloric intake by 200 calories or so? you may see a better weight loss??

I was stuck around the same weight for almost two weeks... and then I was too busy last week to get in my gym workouts. And as of today,  I've lost about 2 pounds.  I'm thinking that what this tells me is that I need to up my calories a little bit when I'm working out! I'll have to be better about making sure that deficit isn't too huge.

Well, any way you cut it, I'm happy to be at 156.8 today!

Happy Valentines day everyone.

I am still at 152.2 today, but since its my totm, thats ok with me.  Plus I ate some guiltfree gourmet chips last night - super salty but really good.  Why do I feel a bit guilty if they are called guilt-free?  ;)

My goals for today are to drink LOTS of water because I had so much sodium yesterday.  I woke up this morning so thirsty!!  I already downed a bottle of water before coming to work.  I have a good day of eating planned and saved over 1000 calories for dinner.  We are going out to a dinner theatre company tonight and there is a pre-planned menu with limited options.  I cannot guarntee that I will be able to eat anything healthy, but hey its just one day!

Well i'm kinda dissapointed today....i had to weigh in today for the biggest looser (DID NOT WANT TO!) and found I am up 2.6 lbs :(  I knew I had gained some weight being sick but it's still depressing to see it.  I am not going to weigh myself until next Wed.  I'm hoping to see a good change on the scale.  Yesterday I added an exercise ticker to my profile.  I'm hoping it helps me to push myself a little bit over what I've been doing. 

So I have no sweetheart for Valentines day and am kinda depressed about it.  I'm going to do double exercise today to try and keep my mind off of it.  Oh and I have laundry to do as well.   How sad is that.

heather - not bad seeings as you are dealing with totm :)   and i think i would stay away from those chips if they are that salty... make sure you really get lots of water in :) and I hope you have a great dinner, enjoy being with your love :)

ltlmsmfft - its understandable that you would gain weight being sick, and sorry you had to weigh in today even though you didnt want to..
dont be depressed that you dont have a sweetheart to spend valentines day with.  My husbands still underway out there somewhere in the ocean, so i wont be spending it with him either... and i have tons of housework to do today also...

as for me, i am down another half a lb.. making it 151.5 this morning :) yay :) plan on doing taebo this morning, then housework, ugh...  the joy... lol...  and i forgot to pick up more yogurt at sams club yesterday, so not sure what i am going to eat after my workout... 

and as always.. gotta drink that water... i am going to have to call the company that delivers our bottled water and tell em i want and extra bottle of water delivered this time cos i am drinking waaay more water then originally.. lol.

unicat- thank you :)  i really appreciate what you wrote.  i'm just in a bad valentines day mood.  i think i'm going to watch movies tonight (after workout, during laundry/cleaning)  so i don't have to see any stupid valentines shows.  better to avoid the stuff that makes me depressed.  btw i rented the devil wears prada the other night and have watched it twice!  love it.
