| Anyone up for a July weightloss challange? | ||

| Starting next saturday june 30th to july30th I am going to start my own challange.
I would like a loss of 10lbs by the end date. I pledge to keep my fitness to at least 4 times a week an hour a day of whatever exercise of my choosing. I pledge to eat a 'healthylivinglifestyle' ranging from 1200 cals per day to 1600 varying my exercise to the cal ratio. I pledge to not binge on junk in the home or office and keep only to my 'healthyfood' anyone may join the last day for joining would be june 30th. Just add your start weight and ending weight for each week. I will add mine starting june 30th. |

Sorry I missed posting. Yesterday was an insane day!
weight for this morning is 181 so that means 3 lbs. I'll take that for a start. Hopefully I can keep it up at this rate! Good luck to everyone else!!!! |

Initial weight (June 30): 315 Week 1 (7/7): 311 Week 2 (7/14): Week 3 (7/21): Week 4.4 (7/31): Goal weight (July 31): 305 Lost so far... 4 lbs I think I had some water weight last week because I was stuck at 315 for a while and no way did I lose 4 lbs of fat last week! |

Thank you humorpam! I feel like I am cheating, though. When I weighed in I had been at that weight for two weeks but had still been sticking to my eating and exercise plan. I think I lost fat but retained water, then lost the water last week.
I went camping Sat-Tues and I ate a lot of bad food that I did not log. I also got more exercise than usual (including an all-day steep hike), but I am not sure it was enough! Wednesday I a lot at a party and logged about 3100 calories with no exercise! I have been back on track these last couple of days, though. I am trying to figure out when and how much and for how long I retain water. I guess I will see what happens next week. |

I agree it was a horrible time for my first weight loss challenge. The fourth of July I smoked a brisket, and then there was all the sides. I might have ate my weight in deviled eggs, but the count was much closer to 5. Here is to a bigger loss next week. |

| Looks like everyone is doing fine. :) I'll weigh-in Monday evening after my Dr.s appt. If anyone has access to a pool,,if you try water-jogging it burns soooo many more cals. then regular jogging because water is 10 times denser than air is! So I try to do it an hour a day,,,,sometimes I stop at about 40-45 mins. Am trying to burn 1200 cals. a day,,,,,and it's soo EASY in water!!! <with no sweat!> Just do it in water from waist - chest deep. Side to side in a pool or 'in place' works just as well. Good luck everyone,,I'm enjoying this! :) | ||

Start weight for challenge: 186lbs 7/6/07: 195.5 lbs I am happy with that. It was a hard week with the holiday and I did alot of extrs exercise to get here. This week I will be better. I am getting the fruit in and the water :) |
