Wow, everyone is having a good week so far! I came in at 157.0 on the dot. Nice to know Im not alone being sore Angie. At least the distance stopped so hoping repetition will make that get better. Seriously, you guys all did awesome! Sarah you not only lose your gain to 165 but dropped down below the prior 163. Rachael and Angie, youre both 5 lbs down for the last two weeks. Wishing everyone else good luck! Alice wont be away tomorrow & Saturday - Im such a procastinator who then never gets things here, but I'll have to do it for her. She is providing me the equivilant of physical therapy and unbelievably patient, telling me to rest each time as long as I need. I have to go xmas shopping! This weekend I will be seeing 3 friends who I never bought gifts for because of lack of what to get and its the same every year - they buy so much. Still have the holiday prep things and waiting on a brainstorm. |

| This has been a wonderfull week for me. getting rid of some of that water weight made me feel better. What Im not ready for is the hubby to come home. Not that I dont want to see him but I tend to pig out when hes here so Im really going to try to avoid that this time around. I didnt get to work out today so thats a goal for tonight. Ive got to get it done some time today. Sound like you all are doing well and happy with the results. We just have to keep plugging away to get to our goals. Im thinking about a mini goal again but cant come up with a date. Any Ideas? | ||

Whoa - thats GREAT Drea! I believe it about your face - water retention shows plus you are also attacking fat cells too. Way to go - glad your off to such a wonderful start :D.
So Valentines day it is - yabbadabba! Anyone else aboard let us know! Great idea for a mini goal, Sarah. Four weeks and we will do it! Friday, sweet sweet Friday! They warn it'll be getting colder. Not ready to pack winter clothes but figured we'd be heading into warmer times. At least, easier on walking because I get heated and always drop a layer before getting home. Not yesterday though. So funny to talk about exercising so casually, it still being quite new to me. |

Hey Everyone,
Still here. back to eating carbs just once a day. I have been doing really well but the weight loss is very slow. I am down to 155...I've only lost 5 pounds. Not really understanding why but i keep trecking on. Sun. I am so curious to try that link but also scared to see what i would look like and know i might never get there. that is pretty cool though |

that thing is awesome. how the heck do they do that? there was one girl on the results page, her wrinkle in her dress was still in the same spot but her little tummy was gone. how??? that is some intricate photoshopping. if only we did lose weight like that-- all over and so noticeably... |

... and so fast, just 48 hrs. I wish I'd started with a better photo but yes, Im just impressed with how they do that!
Is it snowing there Texan Sarah? My daughter called to say it was where she's at and she'll be here soon to go walking. Ive not been out but felt the window and thinking this will be the toughest walk yet. Layers layers layers. |

Jen, sorry your struggling with the numbers but thinking its got to turn around here for you soon. I do 1-2 carbs too.
LINK New study online today: "Diets high in protein may be the best way to keep hunger in check, U.S. researchers said on Thursday in a study that offers insight into how diets work.: At the end, it says: "They also found that eating carbohydrates resulted in a strong ghrelin suppression at first, but ghrelin levels rebounded with a vengeance, rising to an even higher level." |

Girls,
I've been true to my diet even though I haven't been checking in on the board, and I'm entering phase2. I'm a little concerned because my weight seems to be really fluctuating 5-6lbs up and down. Some days, the scale says I only lost 2-3lbs, and some days I've lost 6-8lbs! It's a little disheartening that in a plan that says you will lose 8-13lbs in 2 weeks, it figures that I would barely lose the absolute minimum. : ( On a lighter note, it was effective no matter how minimal, and I have no intention to stop eating the way I have been so... it has to come off, one way or another. I just wish it would stop going up and down and come off quickly! a)What do you ladies do for exercise? b)how many calories do you average a day? |
