Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...

I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.

Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....

Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

unicat---your husband sounds sweet like mine...everytime I say something mean about myself, he tells me not to pick on his wife.  Pretty good for 14 years. 

Don't beat yourself up about the scale, I've been watching my little graph and it goes totally crazy and about every 10 days it goes way down, then back up but not as far up as the previous week.  I'm guessing that's just the way my metabolism works.

hello everyone!!!!  I hope everyone had a great weekend.  I didn't accomplish all of my goals but it's o.k.  I know I've lost inches and I can clean my house duning the weekdays.  I'm just happy that I ate healthy and exercised all weekend.  I think my goal for this monday was 153 and I fell short of that soooooo that kinda sucks but hopefully I can weigh in at 152 by wed????????  We'll see.

so my weight is the same this morning as it was yesterday morning, 157...  so i guess i cant complain, at least i didnt gain...  only problem is, i am NOT feeling so hot this morning, and not sure i will be exercising... i would much rather just go back to bed, but have to get kids up for school and such..  the house needs cleaned since i didnt do much of that this weekend...  but i am going to try to at least stick to my food log for today (i entered everything last night).. and we will see how that goes, even if i dont exercise...  i just dont want to lose the "habit" i have created exercising, to where i wind up having to force myself to get up off my tush and do it..

Morning ladies.

Well I weighed in at 150.0 today... Sigh.  I did my cardio and weights yesterday but it was the first time in a LONG time, maybe over a week.  I am going to work out tonight for sure.

I dont know if the increase is becuase I have not drunk any water (like 500ML in a day) this entire weekend, or becuase I have been snacking. 

Anyway, just dropping in hopefully not for long, but wanted to stay true and didnt want to post in the 140's if I really am 150.  sigh... Someone please kick my butt to get rid of me again!  ;(

I really don't know what the story is... but this is week two of the cake infestation.  There has been some kind of cake in our break room since, at least, Friday, 1/27!  Everytime I go fill up my water bottle or make some tea, its staring me down.  I'm pretty much over cake... seeing as its been around non-stop for so long, but its still tempting me. EEEEEEEEkkkkkk!

I'm not feeling very motivated today.  I'm realllllly going to have to push myself to exercise today.  On the positive side of things I happened to catch a glance of myself in the mirror and realized I look a-lot thinner!!!!

Good morning everyone.

I ate waaaaaay too much at my super bowl party last night. Thankfully I worked out like a fiend over the weekend.

This morning I ate too much, but I think I can get back on track.

I couldn't get to the gym this morning. Really hoping to work out when I get home tonight. I'm terrified to weigh myself tomorrow. Guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get on the thing.

I just ate too much candy...up to 1200 calories...Maybe i'll do an egg beater omelet for dinner later...I'm mad I ate this delicious brownie...dumb.

Oh well...I'll drink my water and move on...I think I'm on the verge of getting sick, so I'm eating like crud to try to make myself feel better....

Off to the hockey rink with my boys...be good all and stay away from the candy!

i've been asleep almost all morning...  i think that trip to the light house yesterday wore me out...  havent done any exercise yet.. havent eaten a whole lot yet either...  or drank any water...  gotta get my daughter from school soon, guess i better start drinking that water now... maybe i can still get 78 oz in the last half of this day... but i dont know about eating enough calories... will see...

I just made myself work out... I was doing a good job of procrastinating, but then got up and just started my cardio.  I am glad I did it, I do feel a bit better (less tired).  I reall didnt want to but once I started I felt good.

Good morning...went to 6am jazzercise, so I am feeling like I accomplished something.

The scale is making me a little crazy, but the trend is good, so I am keeping positive.  Today I am going to catch up and get my house in order, take my car for an oil change and get organized.

water water water, eat that chicken in the fridge (protein) and limit the candy.  Yesterday i ate candy for most of my calories...sad, but true.  It's evil stuff.

Very bummed out this morning. Weighed myself finally and I put on two pounds over the weekend. Guess the excercising didn't help all that much.

When I got home last night the cheese popcorn really got me. I stood there eating it in my coat for at least ten minutes straight. Like a zombie or something. Aaaack! I've got to get back on the wagon.

Good morning everyone! Welcome to the new 150 ers and those that are just visiting a while--we will all have to join a new group sooner or later, so don't beat yourself up!

I too am suffering from a weekend of gluttony--so the first thing I did this morning was to get on the bike for 30 minutes! I'm going to start upping my cardio to 60 minutes a day, but I have to split it into 30 min blocks cus my butt gets sore! lol!

unicat--you look positively amazing in the shirt!!!I'm 37 too, and I frequently steal my daughter's clothes (they are 16). If you got the bod honey, show it off!! ;)

The reading on my scale tells me I'm gonna be here a while--155 this morning! OMG! Oh well, the company is great here! One thing I do know is, I HAVE tightened up, even if I haven't lost weight (keep that on your mind messam!) and my hip doesn't hurt so much now that I am exercising more. This is why its important to keep doin what we are doin--there are so many other health benefits than a few pounds on a screwy scale!

I tallied up the damage from my birthday dinner last night.... and I'm just BARELY under the calories I burned yesterday.  A maintenance day, we'll call it.  I better get my rear in gear for the rest of the week, though.... i'll start to feel reaaaaaaally bad if I keep doing this! I did however make one teeny tiny good decision last night.  I had the 5oz filet mignon instead of the 8oz! hehe.

My stomach is hating me for eating lots of rich stuff last night, though.  It always seems like a good idea while you're doing it....

Well I'm down to 154!!!!!  I got one of those new scales that measures weight, body fat and  hydration.  It's pretty neat.  The brand is Thinner and I paid $40 for it.  Tanita has one that's $100.  (A bit out of my price range right now)  The body fat was broken on my Tanita scale so now I know that I've dropped from 42% to 37% since Jan 8th. 

I now obsessively measure myself.  I only weigh myself in the am because I get angry if the scale goes up due to eating/drinking and then become afraid to eat or drink for fear of becoming fatter so for me it's just best to weigh in after waking up but......  You can measure yourself all day long and guess what??????  If an inch is gone it's GONE!  I really wish I had measured myself when I was thin.  I have no idea what my goals are.  Maybe I can take a pair of my skinny jeans and measure them to have an idea.....

Do you still have some clothes from before ltlmsmfft? When you can fit into your old stuff (my friend doesnt call it weight loss, she calls it "reclaiming her wardrobe") it is sooooo much fun!

Relax about everything--you are doing fine! Keep in mind the adage "a watched pot never boils" Its a great way to keep you focused on the big picture, not all the little stuff in between! Dee
