1450cal per day??? Wheww.... And an amazing almost 2800mg of sodium per day 0_o yowza. Here's to seeing MUCH better numbers next Monday :)
Well I'm back from my weekend in Vermont! :) It was a loooong drive today...it took us 12 hours to get home. I drove for about four hours and my mom drove the rest of the way. I went on a run after I got home just so I didn't feel like a complete bum after sitting all day. I decided not to count calories for the past three days, because I didn't take my laptop and it would have been too hard, so I just tried to be good. I did pretty well, too. I just ate a bunch of my dad's chocolate covered peanuts though...whoops!!
Hey Brenda and Michekhs!! Welcome, and welcome back! :D Michekhs, that's my favorite part about this whole business - crunching the numbers and feeling in control. I am in fact a bio major, and I'm taking bio and ochem this fall. Are you a bio major?
Brenda, I don't have any tips except get back on the wagon! Is your ankle better now? I hope so.
BTW Michekhs, we do weigh-ins on Wednesdays in case you didn't already know :).

you guys can call me miche or michelle (khs was my highschool). I am a bio major but I'm done with ochem so I'll be taking physics. I did know about wednesday weigh-ins (I admit, I was bored and read through almost all the posts...) so yeah. However, I only have access to a scale on saturdays until school starts so if its ok I'll just report my number then. Congrats on breaking 150 though! Thats my first reward weight :)

I have a viral infection, which may be mono. I'm taking the week off exercising, not sure if I'm going to diet. I might restrict my eating but not count calories, or something like that. Buh. Some Superweek.
Welcome back, Carrie! I'm glad you had a good trip :D Sounds like it was a lot of fun, but that's a murderous drive... 0_o woah, I don't blame you for running after that! lol! Oh, yikes, Matty! I hope you feel better :( I'm sorry about that. Just take it easy... your body burns more cals anyway when its fighting a disease. Just listen to it and give it what it needs.

Well, I'm pretty bummed that my weight didn't fall back under 128.0 :( I feel like most of the bloating is gone, so I guess that this is just what's left to deal with. I've been really good so far this week - eating right at 1200cal. I'm going to try and work out tonight, since I didn't last night... hopefully it'll pay off and I can get back down to where I was. A real kick in the confidence, but that's what happens, I guess. I just have to get back on the horse, and that's what I'm doing :)
Ooh, I hope it's not mono Matt! I would say don't worry about calorie counting (but don't go way overboard) and just focus on getting better as fast as possible. That's what I would do, anyway :).
Heather, I doubt you could have actually gained two pounds in a week! I bet some of that's still water weight that's going to come off :).
Well I had a great run this morning! I <3 my new shoes! :D Now for weigh-in...this morning I was 148.8! This is down from 150.6 yesterday. The only thing I can think is that I was retaining water from all the fast food I was forced to eat while in the car over the weekend. I really hope this isn't just some crazy fluctuation...
It was definitely a good weigh in today, my birthday bloat has finally settled and I'm back to where I was before it at:
113.8!!

I'm headed up to Cleveland tonight to visit a friend and we're going out to dinner...wish me luck! I have about 500 calories left for today, but I have a feeling that won't be enough, no matter how good I try to be - restaurants are evil. At least my next "official" weigh-in (as in, the one I enter in my weight log) isn't for another week. :)

I was back at 127.5lbs this morning, so I'm slowly getting rid of that weekend weight... still hoping for 126 next week. Maybe I can still hit 125 before move in at school (Aug. 17th) but we'll see... Here's hoping!!! *crosses fingers*
I've still been good so far =) Not one day has gone over 1200! I'm sticking closer to 1150, just because I know my portions can be a little off sometimes (in the too much sort of way...) It's amazing how much different I feel at 129 than at 127.5 - just a pound and a half and I feel like its a very visible difference. Maybe it's just because I was bloated? /shrug
I'm going to my grandmother's again this weekend, which means more fresh veggies from that delicious garden! Hooray :D
Ok guys today is a big day. I'm getting my belly button pierced. I knowww it was my reward for 110, but I want it and if I don't get it now I'll lose motivation. Besides, who knows if I'll ever make 110? the point is I'm getting more toned and I'm confident enough in my body to rock it. So I'll post pictures right after I get it! but I'm very excited!
I'm not giving up on counting for the week, but I am taking the week off. I am hoping to get to the gym once this week, maybe even twice.
Starting the week after, I have three weeks. So these are boot camp weeks.
In those three weeks, I'd like to go to the gym 10 times, do three sessions of plyometrics, and 9 half hour sessions of Yoga. I'd also like to do 10 ab workouts.
Lea, i'm super excited for you! You'll have to tell me how it goes =) Let me know if its really "that bad" and how it acts about healing up the first little while. I'm still work work working on that tummy... lol. But hooray for you!!! :D

I went to Houlihan's for dinner last night, and I had this delicious grilled rosemary chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. The mashed potatoes were probably a zillion calories and the green beans were covered in butter, but it was delicious! Then my friend got dessert, and I ended up having more than the one bite I told myself I would have, lol. Oh well, it was worth it, and amazingly I was still 148.8 this morning.
Guys it hurt for about 15 seconds! It's a little sore now but I think it looks super duper cute! I'll upload the pictures tonight so you guys can see :)
