Anyone up for a July weightloss challange?
Starting next saturday june 30th to july30th I am going to start my own challange.
I would like a loss of 10lbs by the end date.
I pledge to keep my fitness to at least 4 times a week an hour a day of whatever exercise of my choosing.
I pledge to eat a 'healthylivinglifestyle' ranging from 1200 cals per day to 1600 varying my exercise to the cal ratio.
I pledge to not binge on junk in the home or office and keep only to my 'healthyfood'
anyone may join the last day for joining would be june 30th.
Just add your start weight and ending weight for each week.
I will add mine starting june 30th.

Yes, I realize I'm posting this late (stupid work rescheduling me), but these are the stats for yesterday:
Start date: 6/30/07
Start Weight: 150.4 (30% body fat)
Challenge goal:144.4 (6 lb loss, about 1-2 lb loss per week)
Ultimate goal: 135
Height: 5'6"

Sorry I am a day late posting my weight but I was on a LONG (59miles) bike ride and I don't have internet at home, and when I got home I was way too tired to go to the library for wireless.
So I am posting my starting weight as yesterdays weight.
I hope to reach 155 lbs by July 30, I will not binge, I will drink lots of water each day. I am female, 5' 6" tall.

Edit (7/12/07) I have fallen off the wagon, sort off, I have stopped excercising, and quit counting my calories, but I am switching over to a vegetarian diet, leaning towards vegan. I need to excercise again, got to get back out on that bike and back to the gym, but it is hard to go to the gym when you have nobody to go with. Self motivation wears out after awhile.

It looks like I didn't gain this weekend, but I didn't lose either.
Friday I was 158, today Monday, July 2nd 158.
Here begins the journey of losing 5 to 10 lbs this month, working out 3 days a week, and eating around 1300 to 1400 calories a day.

HI! oh my goodness! I've been trying to get myself to diet for AGES but have NEVER been successful all these years! Can I join? I have absolute lack of self control and it kills me but this time i really need to lose the weight!! I'm so glad I discovered this place :)

crazydot, at 105lbs 5f tall you are at a healthy bmi right now if you drop down to 95lbs you will be considered underweight.
I dont think you should join this challenge maybe try one of the challenges on the maintenance forums.

hey! here's the thing, I'm Asian and the different bone structure and stuff makes the weight things slightly different! I am as of now considered overweight for my height still so 10lbs shoo! :D
