Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...
I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.
Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....
Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

hmmm, I just realized that I wanted to post pics of my graudal weight loss to motivate myself and others. On Monday morning I will add a pic (hopefully 15 lbs lighter than ) so we can see the difference the weight makes.
unicat- enjoy your dinner! splitting it with your daughter is a great idea and maybe you could skip the cheese or at least ask them to go light on it? My family would stage a mutiny as well if I banned the yummy bread from the table. My 4 yrs old litteraly eats the butter by the spoonful on the bread because it's the only place he has ever gotten real butter. I usually have ff spray butter at home or at worst lf country crock.

as far as your exercise goes, do whatever you feel like doing--sometimes I am just too tired to get on the bike, so I do yoga instead. You can do the same thing all week if you want to--it takes a while for your body to get used to a routine. You usually change things up when you get bored, or the workout becomes too easy. Bottom line is have fun, and I think you should wear that shirt from yesterday when you work out so you can be even more inspiried! :)

lol.. thanks dee.. and ltlmsmfft... i went ahead and did the taebo.. i was just afraid of pushing my muscles too much, winding up not being able to do the whole thing... i kinda wanted to get the whole thing completely down before i switched around from my regular routine.. but i did it cos i wanted to burn more calories today, lol.. so i wont feel so rotten by going out tonight lol... and i dont think the shirt i was so excited about wearing would be that good to work out in lol.. too cumbersome?? lol.. as is i work out in shorts and a sports bra.. :) okay... so i gotta finish my housework, get my shower, get all prettied up :) sooo looking forward to finally seeing my husband... :)

lol.. okay so i was going through my closet trying to find SOMETHING to wear to see my husband.. and i tried on another shirt that didnt look good before.. and it looks much better now too :) not quite at that stage where i will feel comfortable wearing it out though, cos its a little revealing and i have a couple areas i still want to work on, but another WOW moment for me :) so i am going with comfy for today..(i really wanted to have something new, but not gonna go looking now.. he is home two weeks earlier than planned so maybe next time he goes to sea i will have something even better to show him :P ) i think he will still be able to see my accomplishments, and maybe tonight after the kids go to bed i will show him what i WANTED to wear lol.. and i am NOT going to feel GUILTY tonight :) I have been a "good girl" the entire time he has been gone, so it my turn to be bad :P hehe...
unicat- I admire your no guilt attitude!!! When I get on my healthy kicks I get almost neurotic about not eating ANYTHING bad. Almost to the point of needing to be medicated. I will actually become reduced to tears and small fits of rage if I end up in some situation where there is litterally no low fat food to eat. Like I said.... a bit neurotic. I'm kinda one of thos all or nothing people. I guess that's why when I got depressed I just said screw everything and drank every day and ate 3 fast food meals a day.....gained 60 lbs in less than 2 yrs. I really need to work on being more balanced. Anyway have a great time tonight.
AUGHGHG- Have you ever had a low fat snack in mind and gone to the vending machine to find it's SOLD OUT!!! Even worse the next best thing is sold out too! Well I had to make the best of a bad situation. I choose the baked cheddar lays. I only wanted 2 grams of fat so I dumped them out on a napkin and seperated them into to matching piles. I put one pile back in the bag and into my desk for next week. Now instead of eating 4 grams of fat I'm sticking to the 2 I wanted.

well i went up to the base to see my husband real quick during his lunch, he needed me to drive him somewhere.. but come to find out minutes before he got off they werent letting em go yet... :( so spent 15 minutes with him, with a fence seperating us.. and came home to eat lunch and wait for the phone call saying i can pick him up :( how depressing :( but hey, i at least got to see him.. right :) and i am not letting it get me down, still eating my salad for lunch, and staying away from the munchies, lol. this day is going to be so slow, i just know it :( lol..

i uploaded a couple pics of me in the shirt i tried on today..... okay, so i have some work to do still.. lose more weight, and tone this body up but i dont think it looks tooooo awful lol... especially since when i bought the shirt i couldnt even pull it on without fighting it... no way would it go over my head... thought my shoulders were just too dang wide.. but no, it was me in general that was too wide... now i cant slip it right over my head, or even up my legs :) hehe...

I had lunch at a girlfriend's today. there were 8 of us there...too much food, too much wine. I only ate a granola bar for breakfast so I'm trying not to beat myself up too much. The good news is my husband is going to a friend's for superbowl so I can just curl up and watch tv with my water. I am trying to resist a beer right now and drink water until he gets home later. I am going upstairs with my buckets of laundry and a water bottle.....
If I was smart I'd jump on the elliptical for 20 minutes too...I just might have to.

I had lunch at a girlfriend's today. there were 8 of us there...too much food, too much wine. I only ate a granola bar for breakfast so I'm trying not to beat myself up too much. The good news is my husband is going to a friend's for superbowl so I can just curl up and watch tv with my water. I am trying to resist a beer right now and drink water until he gets home later. I am going upstairs with my buckets of laundry and a water bottle.....

wow quiet here this morning....
so, i enjoyed my dinner... gained a lb from it, but i enjoyed it... couple things i did "wrong"... i ate a few more of the garlic rolls then planned, and i probably should of stopped eating when my body said it was full... but i swear i have "finish your plate" stamped on my brain.... thanks mom.... i DID drink plenty of water with dinner (almost two big glasses)... and we kinda walked after (if you can call spending an hour walking through walmart actually walking?? lol..)
well... gonna do my exercise here in a bit, then i have housework i need to do (which i didnt do yesterday, cos i was sooo anxious about seeing hubby).. and my daughter has a bowling bday party to go to, and i forgot to buy a present, so back to walmart with me... lol.. hope everyone is having a good weekend :)

im sorry ladies of the 150 club but i slipped up!! i had a big mac and a cheeseburger for dinner and some kfc for lunch. :0( Thursday night i stepped on the scale and i was 154.5 which means that i gained 2 lbs and then after i ate i was 156 but then in the morning i was 154.5. i started feelin really discouraged. yes my measurement are showing that im losing a lil, but what is the point of running 1 1/2 mile everyday and lifting weights 3 times a week if ur not gonna lose weight.. so today is a new day im going to forget yesterday and start again tomorow.. need my stomach to go away that is the only part that frustrated me to no end!!! had nice abs before my 3 year old!! why me?!?!?!?!?
you dont have to apologize to us messam :) todays a new day and you just start over :) i am doing the same thing, except i actually gained a lb from mine... it was well worth it though, and today IS another day.... :) and i am sure you will get those abs back :)
as long as you hold yourself accountable for it.. you probably knew when you were eating that food it wasnt good for you... thats kinda what i like about cc is that it REALLY holds me accountable for what i am eating...
btw... didnt finish my workout this morning... my kids got up and ones coughing hard, and i just got frustrated a little over 2/3 of the way through it, so i stopped.. but hey i did do 2/3 of it, which is better then the none i wanted to do when i started...

Good morning all...well the magical 2 lb loss has dissapeared. I looked at my graph and it seems I up and down a lot and it is slowly moving down. So happy I have no super bowl issues tonight. My husband is going over a friends for a guys thing. I was thinking of taking my boys out for dinner, but the more I'm thinking about it, I may just get some Subway. They love it and it's not horrible, better than Friendly's anyway.
I got a little off track for 2 days not logging what I'm eating so I am going to stick to it today. No exercise today unless my foot feels better later. Twisted it a little, darn clogs! What we won't do for fashion.

I'm 150 this morning. A little upset I must say b/c I used to be 135 and over a YEAR. I gained weight and hit 150. Hopefully I'll be out of it soon. I was 160 about a month ago. 10lbs down but still unable to fit into any of my clothes! Anyway, doing good this morning. Going to go on a walk with my dog! She's pretty excited! Keep up the good work everyone!
welll... i am holding myself accountable this morning.. and so is the scale.. i totally messed up yesterday :( i went with my daughter to the bday party yestrday with the best of intentions.. to stay away from any of the bday food... BLEW IT... not onl did i have a chocolate cupcake with chocolate icing (my downfall)... but i also went up to the food service at the bowling alley (with every intention of getting a salad)... and bought a plate of chili cheese fries instead... :( so the awful scale read 157 this morning.. :( thats up 2.5 lbs for the weekend and its not even over yet :( so i now know i have absolutely no will power when it comes to going out in the real world and eating.. :( i am fine as long as i am in my own home where i control everything in the home... and have nothing in the home to tempt me... today is going to be hard, we are going downtown to see if they have any kittens for adoption, then who knows where we will go.. and what we will do.. ugh.. i am going to try to get back on track.. we will see...

I did 40 min aerobics and 55 min strip aerobics (first time it was lost of fun) today. I'm really feeling it. I brought a great veggie tray to my superbowl party and regular ranch dip for the guests and a fat free balsamic for me to dip my veggis in. I also brough apples in case I feel like something sweet.

I did 40 min aerobics and 55 min strip aerobics (first time it was lost of fun) today. I'm really feeling it. I brought a great veggie tray to my superbowl party and regular ranch dip for the guests and a fat free balsamic for me to dip my veggis in. I also brough apples in case I feel like something sweet.
sounds like you did good today ltlmsmfft :) yay, you go girl :) and thanks about how i looked in the shirt.. :) hubby said he saw no reason for me not to wear it out in public.. i had to point out my fat up by my chest.. he said he wouldnt of noticed it.. lol.. then i had to point out the fact that i am almost 37 years old and i dont want people thinking i am trying to look like i am in my early 20's lol.. and that i thought it was too revealing lol.. he says "ummm why did you buy the shirt??" i said " to look good" he says "okay then :) "
i checked my weight log just a few minutes ago.. and basically friday and saturday cost me my whole last weeks worth of work.. :( i weighed the same this morning as i did last sunday morning... :(
i am hoping today will be a new start although i still didnt do well.. didnt drink but about 32 oz of water... and ate a couple pieces of pizza hut pizza... but my calories for the day arent much higher than normal with em, AND we as a family went for a loooooooooooooooong walk up a huge mountain to see a lighthouse up on the windward side of the island, and got to see some whales :) yay :) it was a fun looong day :) hoping tomorrow is a better food day though :)
hope everyone enjoyed the super bowl.. (we dvrd it so he could watch part of it, and the commercials.. havent been real excited over the commercials so far though..)
