Hi everyone,
I had a better week this week, managed to average 1450 cals per day. i went out for pizza on saturday, i really enjoyed it and i was was under the rest of the week so there was no need to feel guilty. Monday weigh in ,i have lost another 2 lb, thats 14 over 8 weeks, 42 to go.

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile!! It was Birthday weekend...I was good and bad, I haven't been able to weigh myself because the scale is at work (I can't have one in the house or I get obsessive with it and that would be a bad thing) So tomorrow I will see what kind of damage I did over the weekend. I went out twice for dinner, one horrid, one not so bad calorie wise. (check my journal for full details) Let's just say that my first trip to Texas Roadhouse was more than my newfound willpower could handle.
Everyone sounds like they are doing great, and if no one objects, my official weigh in days will be tuesdays. ( I don't work on Mondays)

Well.....Yesterday was a bust, for the most part. I kept under Maint. Intake, but blew my weightloss calories (Hey, for me, being under maint is good though, lol!).
My dearly beloved and sympathetic husband (since his turnaround yesterday....after lunch....you'll understand in a minute) Ordered a HUGE appetizer of FRIED stuff at lunch, with just me and the kids with him. I guess he didnt realize what a temptation it would be for me. After a bit of a vent to him about it (Oh, I like that, I'll call it that from now on...Vent...heh), He's had a complete turn around and is now trying to Help me. BUT I did cave and eat a few things off of there. Normally, though, I would've eaten my half of it, and then some, so I feel good that I was able to keep it down (we're talking friend shrooms, cheesesticks, onion rings, and fried zuchinni, with RANCH on the side!). Plus, I ordered smart at lunch, Side salad fat free ranch, Green beans, and grilled chicken breast, minus the rice. I was so proud of myself til the fried temptation hit the table...then I even caved and ate a roll! GAH! I even tried eating the extra order of carrots (they brought one of my kids that vs corn on the cob, which she hates carrots, so yeah) to keep from eating some of the fried....but the to go box for the extra's did me in.
Doing better today, though...
oh and no excercise yesterday :(

I always like to read what everyone is eatting throughout the day. Would you guys be interested in posting what you've eaten throughout the day? I will start.
Breakfast: 1 cup honey nut cheerios & 1/2 cup skim milk
Snack: banana
Lunch: turkey on whole wheat bread with "i can't believe its not butter", hard boiled egg, and an orange
Snack: Yogurt??
Not sure about dinner tonight, maybe some Heathy Choice soup.....

that's it so far...chicken thighs for dinner...
To heck with the smoking ban! I say all restaurants should ban deep fried foods (especially appetiers)!!! And on top of that, they should put a massive luxury tax on oil (except for the healtier kind) that would make it too expensive to use for deep frying!
I have pretty good willpower but there's something about having a Blooming Onion sitting in front of you that just pushes my limit!!!
Truth be told, I've been doing this healthy eating thing for so long now, my body rebels if I eat anything greasy. That doesn't mean I don't have cravings, but at least I know that if I eat something greasy, I'll pay for it big time!
dek and kae, your meals for today are wonderful! Good job to both of you! I've got to work on getting some protein in this evening. I think I'll have some salmon with fresh asparagus.

I thought my work out was going to kill me this morning...trying to "up" the energy and man could I feel it!
My bloat is starting to leave finally so I am hoping when it all leaves, I will be down at least a pound...I have been here too long...TOM really messes you up!!!!!!!!!!
Well today I have eaten:
Breakfast - Atkins Advantage Shake
Snack - 1 package weight control oatmeal
And I packed my lunch so I know I am having - Turkey Sandwich on wheat bread with live active cheese, lettuce, tomato and fat free mayo. Fruit Salad with grapes, strawberries and banana.
Snack - probably yogurt and quaker rice snacks
Not sure what I am having for dinner yet!

I hear you on the TOM.. I was down to 209.6 and it is my TOM and I weighed myself and am up to 211! But I am so bloated so I am sure that is why because I have been working out and eating right! Hopefully I will be down again by my next weigh in!
I really like posting what I eat.. helps keep me accountable!!

Breakfast: Slimfast Optima Chocolate Royale shake...I have to get chocolate in somehow...
Snack: Quaker Mini Rice Cakes
Lunch: Progresso Italian Style Wedding Soup
Afternoon Snack: Probably the Yogurt that I brought to work
I still have to come up with what I am making for supper...Hmmm... no ideas yet.
I need to eat quite a bit more...
Total cereal for breakfast with skim milk.
Forgot snack...stole spinach from co worker
Lunch...turkey sandwich and maybe some soup...

Good choices! I usually go for a high-fiber cereal for breakfast (Kashi's Heart to Heart) but your oatmeal provided you with some substantial fiber. Sounds like you're getting in your fruits, grains, dairy, and lean protein. If you can get in some more veggies for your dinner tonight, you'll have it covered! Way to go!
I find that asparagus and sweet potatoes are good choices for my evening meal. An apple, either raw or cooked with some cinnamon, goes great with both.

Last night for dinner we had pork chops, peas & cottage cheese. Not the healthiest, but I really watched my portions and I think it was "ok". For dessert the boys and I split a piece of weight watchers cheesecake. I have a "healthy" version of beef stroganoff in the crock pot for tonight.
Here's what I've had today so far...

Lunch will be: Weight Watchers enchilada meal with rice & beans...
Snack: Yogurt
Dinner will be: Beef Stroganoff on whole wheat pasta & steamed veggies
Amanda - Yep, often I will grab a chocolate slim fast in the am also. Since I only drink water now, the slim fast tastes just like chocolate milk to me. YUM!!!
You're little boy is so cute, how old?? I have two boys, almost 4 and almost 2!

Tracy - My son is almost 15 months, those pictures are from November. He is one of my reasons for wanting to lose the weight and get in shape...just to keep up.
I think for supper I will make a Taco salad, I change it a little for my son and add a few noodles and cheese to the taco meat...he loves noodles.

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
