What's YOUR dangerous food?

So, there are plenty of healthy foods out there. But you know what they say. Too much of a good thing isn't always a good thing. So what's something that when you eat it, you usually end up eating too much?


For me, it's almonds. Especially dry roasted almonds. A handful of nuts every day is supposed to be good for you, but I always end up eating 3 or 4 servings. Also. Special K bars. They're delicious, but I seem to eat maybe 4 of them if I'm not paying attention.


How about you? What makes you lose control?

Peanut butter......maybe over time I will be able to eat this in moderation but right now I just don't dare to try because I know what it would probably lead to.

 Glad to see I'm not the only one! The good thing though, is that I'm scared to eat the "unnatural" stuff and I'm the only person in my house that will pay for natural pb, haha. So I decided to just stop buying it for a while!! But it's SOO good ;]

Cereal, skimmed milk, yogurt light. I love this stuff I can eat it this for breakfast, lunch and dinner

 me too, i tried the jif PB w/ honey and i went crazy...had to throw the jar away because i was binging on PB sandwiches real crazy like, lol

Probably sugary cereal or frozen yogurt.

And it gets REALLY bad when I mix them together... mmmm.

  1. Cereal. Especially Crispix, Puffins etc. I could kill a box easy.
  2. Jarlsberg cheese. I could kill a block easy.

3. crackers

4. cookies

5. strawberries

6. tropical alcoholic beverages

7. tofurky deli slice

the list goes on... pretty much anything i like a lot is dangerous for me! so i mostly eat snacks that i don't like too much. that helps me practice portion control haha!

Pizza, the food I crave and once I crave it I have to eat it. I cannot just eat one slice. I can eat a 1/2 a large pizza at one meal. So I'd rather not be around it.

Cheetos.   I keep sneaking a few handfuls during the day.  those handfuls add up.  Very sad.  No more Cheetos for the hubbins, I can't stop eating them.  So tasty!

well, peanut butter's a given, but I think I have an even worse time with cottage cheese. Yes, just plain lowfat cottage cheese. I could literally eat it all day every day. I've completely stopped buying it because before I know it, I'm getting like all my calories from it haha. yummmm.

Grapes are my dangerous food.  I pretty much do eat a bag a day.  Bad, bad, bad.  And fruit salad.  Keep it away from me!

i just discovered the beauty of frozen mango on sunday. it is now gone. add that to my list as well as chips and salsa.

Ahg. Cake batter ice cream (especially from Cold Stone with sprinkles and white chocolate chips) and fries... I used to work at a Belgian restaurant with the most amazing fries, aka "frites" as they call them, with a variety of homemade aiolis, and despite the huge amount of exercise I'd gain by running around for 7 hours straight carrying heavy plates up and downstairs, I never lost any weight because the only time we had to eat would be standing up in the back, munching on our frites...
