Thanks so much. I couldn't have done it without you. You're an inspiration. Again Thanks so much!

Lets update people..........I'm 120!
weighed for first time in 6 weeks!!

LW: 78

CW: 94

GW: 105

im over half way yey :D
I am 121, as of this morning.  Only 9 more lbs to go!  How is everyone else doing??
I'm 17, 5'5", and weigh about 110 lbs. w/ approximately 13% body fat.  Strangely, I reached my lowest weight of 105 lbs. after I started eating and recovering again during the fall (cross country season).  Unfortunately, that weight-loss caused me to lose my periods again, and its been quite challenging for me to allow myself to gain weight to a point where my periods will return.

Summer cross country training is going to be starting again in the near future, and though I train on my own anyway, my parents WILL NOT allow me to compete or participate on the team again until I regain a normal healthy cycle.  My dietician has recommended that I gain weight up to at least 115, and get my body fat % up to at least 16.

I'm very determined now, but despite my increase in calories I haven't had any success in gaining weight this week.  I'm quite certain that it is due to my level of activity.  Unfortunately, I often get anxious about eating to gain unless I've done some kind of hard excercise.  I'm sure many of you are familiar with the feeling of needing to "earn" the food, and its hard for me to get over that..I like challenges, and its as if I feel like I'm being too "easy" on myself if I don't feel fatigued.  I've cut down on my running, and have been doing more resistance work lately, so I hope that will make gaining easier without creating too much anxiety.

I'm really looking forward to being the captain of the girls' cross country team this coming fall, and working as a lifeguard during the summer, so I'm going to keep trying and see what works.

Congratulations to everyone else on their efforts and successes!  Reading your posts really helps keep me motivated too :)

Even though I can't seem to gain weight I just wanted to say congrats to everyone else that is doing so awesome on here! Not trying to copy Dane Cook or anything, but you guys are a bunch of BAMFs. :)

Hope everyone had a good weekend!  Just posting my progress.  I weighted in at 123 this morning, only 7lbs to go to get to my goal!  I am leaving for vacation on Friday, so I imagine those last 7lbs wont be a problem:)

Have a good one!
Hey Kel that is fantastic, if you don't mind me asking, how tall are you??? Have fun on your vacay...and indulge!

She said earlier in this thread that she's 5'8.:]

Linney, I believe we are the same height (5'8"), I know you are maintaining right now, what weight are you maintaining at (if you dont mind me asking)?  I feel good right now at 123, but I know I need to gain more, since I lost my period last August and I still havent gotten it back.  My Dr. said that once I start maintaining, and stay a consistant weight for a while then it will probably come back.  Is that what any of you experienced??  (sorry I got a little off topic:)
Well I am actually 5'7, but my doctor wanted me at 125-130ish and you are a bit taller than me..(thanks missmagill).

But, yea you do need to put on a few more...eventually like me once your body fat increases, like to around 15% you will get your period back, mine stopped at 12%....but now we are A-OKAY!!

I went from 100 to 103 in a week. Granted, I've done some binging the past few days (must stop doing that) because I got freaked out about needing to gain and the doctor said I'm definitely retaining fluids so next week probably will be the same or a loss but heyyyy it's still technically a gain!

Not gonna lie, I'm having mixed emotions right now but I must remain positive!! Gaining is good!

Yay!  Gaining IS good.  I can hear Greece calling you....

Although stopping binging IS probably a good idea...because you don't want to be doing it forever and its not healthy.

April 1st I was 103 lbs and now may 17th I'm 118 lbs. I've been eating jars of peanut butter and eating whenever I want. The only thing I try to avoid is refined sugar, everything else is on the menu. I feel wonderful but I still have quite a way to go, my goal is either 130 lbs or 140 lbs, I'm thinking 140 because I don't want to look skinny at all.

Great goal curvesaregood......I am still trying to maintain so I won't post any numbers right now, but how is everyone else...any goals that have been made? Any new gaining going on out there? Possibly more booty in that bathing suit this season??? HA
well i dont have any new numbers but i do have a positive:

MY CLOTHES FIT!!

haha they dont hang off me any more, ihave a bit of a booty to fit in them, and theres definitely a bit more of a curve to the figure :D

i havent been shopping in ages cos i cant find anythin that doesnt fall down but im going on a shopping trip this weekend :P

I'm new at this...everyone told me my metabolism would catch up.  I'm 27 now and it hasn't.

Height 5ft 2in

Weight-95

Lowest weight-85

Goal weight-120

Highest weight-139 (right before I had my baby, healthiest I ever felt)

I realized I'm not taking in enough calories, only 1600 average and have been trying really hard to get to 2000 before each day is over.  The first 1000 is easy.

My weight has shot up this week! I think I'm happy about it...no, no, I KNOW I'm happy about :)

I look better and the number does not matter so I'm not going to let it get to me. As of this morning I'm 103. I realize this is only 2-3 lbs in the last 2 weeks but it's huge for me after months of eating and eating and not seeing a change at all on the scales.

I've really been pushing myself, taking in about 4000 cals a day and had to cut down on most exercise. I think not exercising is hardest for me, as well as having to feel sick and bloated a lot from all the food. But if that's what it takes I'll do it!

welcome minda and congrats on the stepping stone gibbit!
