hey Karen! I am also 5'7" and I'm 165 lbs, trying to lose 30... to be at 135 this summer! I would like to reach 130 overall but right now im aiming at 135 since it was my old weight... and then i wanted to lose 5. We pretty much have the same goals! i just started on this site today - started my work out/weight loss plan last monday. I'd love to buddy up and work together.
I actually was over 190 a few years ago and lost over 35lb, but this winter gained a bit because i stopped working out or watching my food... but i know i can do it.
I'm 23yrs old.

It's 6:53 am Monday morning, and I'm weighing in at 166.5 pounds, down 2.5 pounds from last Monday! That's 7.5 pounds total loss for me. How's everyone else doing?
Hey there everyone! I weighed in at 159lbs, up .8lbs from last monday. Not so good, but still maintaining the 10lb loss! okay hopefully this week will show better results!
well im older than you but im 5'7 was at 161 a couple of weeks ago but now down to 158, im hoping to reach 143 by july, maybe 140 but then build back up with muscle only to 145. still unsure how 5lbs of extra muscle will look on me, but my legs need the definition to look more shapely. my wedding is in oct so i need to lose some weight first before i can play around with gaining more muscle.

helloooo i weighed in this morning at 158.5 lbs thats 1.5 lb down from last week, couldnt post earlier because i just got home from an exam at skool ughh!

hey, this morning I weighed 165 so no weight lost for me, BUT my exams finish thursday so hopefully after that I'll be able to really start being healthy and actually exercising again!

I am 26 (on sunday..ekkk) 5'7" and started at 160 as well. That was about 2 and a half weeks ago. So far I have lost nearly 5lbs with just changing my diet and some walking/rollerblading when I can fit it in. Currently I am at 155.6lbs.
Hopefully by Monday there will be a change in that number.

Well, it's Monday weigh in day! How is everyone doing? I hired a personal trainer so I'm hoping that will help with this whole weight loss thing! As for my weight today, I'm 160, up again....but I'm not too worried! I'll see them go down soon enough!

Today is a banner day because I reached my first 10lb loss. I'm 164.0 pounds today! I gained a little over the weekend, but it came off again, and I'm feeling good. I stopped worrying about coffee with cream calories, and I even went to Red Robin with some friends - I had half a garden burger with half a side of fries and lots of unsweetened iced tea.
How's everyone else doing? I hope you're all well.

cool im happy u got a persnal trainer thats really cool, if i had ajob id really want one but then again, my brother is one but i guess im the one thats just not motivated enough... he tells me what ishould do but then idont guhh(N) i guess i should start taking his advice!
ughh i love red lobster havent been there in a whilee... last time i went well tried to go.. the power there had dgone out and everyone had to leave lol!
as for me,, im 1/2 lb down putting me at 158.. was hopping for more but w.e my tummy looks trimmer and ive aintained my 3 inches lost off my waist, putting me at 29 inches...and 41 now in the hips!
i wolndt mind the 41 but would really love to trim down to a nice 26-27 on my waist lol...
i trined on my new bikini today and its not lookin too good so i have it hanging in my washrooom near my scale! haha hopefully it will motivate me to get up and excersize! im hoping to be down to 154 by the end of the month!

anyway on thurs which is my weigh in day at weight watchers i had gained 1.5 lbs, back to 159.5. but the day before a pair of pants felt looser around the waist (but not my hips). sun i ate over 1,000 calories from my daily intake but yesterday i was very good & im trying to make up for it over the next couple of days for my weigh in on thurs.
going to gym or park everyday this week. i have an 8km fun run may 20th as well. had a nice slow jog for about 45 minutes yesterday, although it could've been longer as i need a hrm watch. i dont think ill get down to 154 by the end of this month.
