| Anyone in this grouping looking to drop from 140 to 130's. We can all use support. Today I am focusing on all the food groups. Exercise would be good, but I won't be able to since I am working from 9 to 10:30. A Super long day. I hope I can stay focused, when I pass the fast food chaines on my travels today. | ||

Sounds great lizzlebizzle, carastar and poohb,
I?m on my last glass of water, I did my 45 minutes of cardio and my calorie intake was around 1500. Now, if I can stay out of the kitchen until tomorrow morning I will have had a successful day. How are you timbergrove? You are the one who started 140-130 club right? |

Okay, I'm soooo bored, so I decided to post instead of eating some crackers. Haha. Only 30 minutes until I can go home (and then go to PF Changs and Pirates!)! I went for a 36 minute (2 mile) walk today for my lunch break. It was HARD and I nearly turned back early a few times. It was so hot outside (damn San Fernando valley - it's 100 degrees out there!) and I felt so disgusting when I came back and was all sweaty. Blah. But, now I feel great and I'm proud of myself for doing it! It was made easier at least because I had my iPod, but next time I must remember to bring a bottle of water with me. I was tempted to drink out of the sprinklers! Haha. I'm feeling really good about today. Last night I figured out everything I was going to eat today and how much of what I was going to have at PF Changs so that I wouldn't go over my calories. And I've stuck to my plan! I'm pretty hungry and won't be eating for another 4 hours...but it'll be worth it to be able to eat some Mongolian Beef! ;) Yay! So anyway, that only wasted about 5 minutes, but I won't take up any more of you're time. :) You guys are great! See ya on Monday! |

| Good for you carastar! Not time wasted at all! I just downed my final glass of water. Oh no, my husband is going shopping before coming home. That will put me in the kitchen putting things away. Maybe I?ll do the tape on mouth deal. | ||

| Just read the post and I too am in this boat. I have been stuck in the 145-148 range for months despite exercising 4 x's week for 1 hour or more. I have yet to see those lovely 130's in many years and I am only 24. Hopefully I can get some inspriration and help here! | ||

Welcome c2cghica and everyone else who has posted,
I made it successfully through the night last night. Today is a new opportunity to eat well and move my butt. |

I'm glad this thread popped up. It seems like there are a lot of people in the same boat!
Today was a quick workout. A bit of yoga, 30 minutes on the arc trainer, 15 minutes on the bike. My mom and I are taking my niece and nephew to the Science Center at 1 pm, so I was happy to be able to work out beforehand because I never know if I'll be motivated to do it later in the day. So, yay! Only downside is that today is a B+ day, as opposed to my usual A days, but I'm thinking some of the things that are bringing me down are a little skewed grade-wise. So. Who knows. Keep at it! |

| Like you, lizzlebizzle, I need to exercise in the morning. Someone (can?t remember who) in CC said that she ?works out as soon as she wakes up, before she?s awake enough to talk herself out of it. Good for you jades! I too want to be 125 but I can?t wait until I?m 140. | ||

gosh, I'm so glad to have found people with the same goal... I'm adding you all! :) I love to hear how y'all are doing, its really keeping me motivated even though I had a little slip-up 2 days ago. I need some help and motivation today too, as it's my mum's birthday and the family is throwing a big party with lots of food! eeek! |

| Yesterday, I thought I really messed up on my food choices but when I added it all up I still stayed below 2000. My cal. per day should be 1200, to maybe lose a pound a week. (My damn age has me losing weight so slowly. Take note: a message to all you sweet young things out there, Lose the pounds before it REALLY gets difficult.) So, I didn?t do so badly considering what I used to eat on a slip. I drank my 8 glasses of water, which is a real accomplishment, and I did my 45 min. on the Orbitrek, which I enjoy once I get on the thing. All in all, I guess yesterday was actually a good day! Today will be better! Happy B-day to lovinlife?s mother! | ||

lovinlife, how'd you do at the family party? Happy birthday to your mom!
songchild: "she 'works out as soon as she wakes up, before she?s awake enough to talk herself out of it.'" Hahahaha that's hilarious. I know if I wait 'til a certain hour, I won't do it. But there was this time, I think it must have been last Sunday, that I wanted to go work out, then I didn't, then I did, then I didn't, and I kept vacillating. So I decided to just do yoga, and right when I put down my mat, I said, "Wait, the Y closes in an hour, I can do yoga when I get back!" and I ended up working out anyway. Hahaha. I was indecisive that day. Well, I took a peek at my weight on the scale today...I don't even know if I should type it, for fear that I'll curse it or something. I'm afraid that, I don't know, I'll balloon up by my "real" weigh-in day (Thursday). *sighs* Okay, here goes...today's unofficial weigh-in: 134.8! Whaaaaaat? I don't know how it happened, either. I upped my calories to 1400, and apparently my body really liked that. I'm going to work out and go tanning today! Yaaay. I need to find another good book for my cardio machine. Right now I'm reading a so-so one. My dad and I seem to have the same tastes in books, so I've been trying to rack his brain about it. Today's workout: yoga (+abs), 40 minutes on elliptical, 10 minutes on bike, and then...hmm. I think obliques and back muscles are due for some toning today. :) Dieting isn't so bad when it works...... Liz |

| lizzlebizzle, not so bad at all! So far so good for me today. I did my 45 min. orbitrek before God daughter and her brother were due to arrive but my dangerous time of day is almost upon me. | ||

Nice, songchild! I love getting in a workout before people come over and stuff. Then I don't have to worry about it all day.
I stuck to my agenda today, except for one thing...I didn't go tanning! I was feeling super-stressed about other stuff today, so at least I got in my workout. Yay. Liz |

| Wow. This group sure has grown. It is so nice to see we have so many friends struggling for the same goals. Well I blew it over the weekend. I dropped to 141 on Friday morning and now I am back at 144. We had an event we had to sponsor on Friday night, So I had done alot of baking. The worst was I made a new recipe that tastes just like Reeses Peanut butter cups. Well I did not stop at one. Today is much better. We went to the gym and I walked on the treadmill for 1 hour at 3.5 miles. I had 2 Reeses PB homemade treats and a healthy choice frozen meal for dinner. I can't figure out why I sabbatoged the whole weekened. Tomorrow is another day. Lets all make good choices. | ||

timbergrove, no worries. :) You're right, tomorrow is another day!
Pssst...for the 4th of July, I made peanut butter cookies...with mini Reese's peanut butter cups on top...they tasted SO good when heated up just a little bit. Needless to say, I didn't stop at one, either. Or two. Or three. Heh. BUT! I got back on track rather quickly. And they were worth the calories. ;) |

Do we share a Reeses peanut butter cup gene or what?
Today was an excellent day! I was so good to myself. |

Mm, Reese's. They taste so good when they've been in the freezer. You know, I still have a marshmallow Peep in the freezer from Easter. I used to blow through those things like a tornado, and I think I'm just going to keep this one around to remind me I dun' need it. :D
WELL. I want to go work out. But I'm hesitant, because I'm afraid my stalker will be at the YMCA. Yeah, I'm being stalked. I should probably get a restraining order if it gets bad. But so far, it's mostly harmless stuff. He's hurting himself more than anyone right now. "I can't sleep! I can't eat without you!" sort of BS. It's like a child, really, trying to hold his breath until he gets what he wants...how funny... Anyway. Hope he's not there, because I want to do....30 minutes on the arc trainer! 15 minutes on the bike! No weights today, but definitely yoga. THENNNNN my best friend and I are getting smoothies. :"> She's back in town from San Francisco! FINALLY! Hope everyone's day is awesome...... Liz |

Woah, I missed everything! Gotta catch up on the working out. I had serious intentions to do a 70 video last night when my husband was on overnight call - it's like 35 min cardio, 15 upper toning & 20 lower toning - that adds up, right? *thinking* Yeah. So. But. I didn't - I was sooo tired & I had some hand laundry to do before the cleaning lady comes (today) and ruins delicates. {sigh}
I was planning to go walking tonight - w/ or w/o a friend - but my husband called this morning about this major meeting he had and wants to discuss and he would rather not discuss much by phone. Hmm, intriguing. Well, he asked if I wanted to go for lunch. Hello? I work full time, remember? Not today, but we could do dinner. Ugh. I told him we could do dinner but only if we walk back & forth instead of driving, and we need to find a babysitter, and I hope I don't overeat. I'm low on protein. Gotta get me a machine to go on. Hmph. Timber, don't feel bad - you aren't alone. I guess I'm in denial - I was down to 143 for like 3 or 4 days, then 142 Friday morning. Yesterday & today the scale insisted on pretending that I got back up to 145 - liar! We can get back down - I am a believer that once you got rid of the lbs once they're easier to get rid of quickly if they come back to visit. G'luck all! |

Can I join to? I started at 142 in May and as for today I am down to 135.
I have been working out but mainly just trying to eat very healthy. With a push from slappy, I got the Jillan Micheal DVD and I have to say it's one of the best things ever. |
