What are your Maintenance Stats....

Quote  |  Reply
Just wondering if people can post their stats and their maintenance calories.
Me:
5'1, F, 32 y, 103lbs, ????Cals/day for maintenance.

That's why I've posted, as I don't yet understand how to determine my maintenance calories.  The expenditure tool on this site is definitely inaccurate. I thought it would be better to learn from all of you. Thanks.

Shiptona (if you are even on here anymore) that was an AWESOME post!

5'7"/F/105-107/1300-1500 cals a day. I do HIIT on my pa's bike trainer five days a week, and jog/run 12 minutes four days a week, and walk 2 hours total a week.

I'm not maintaining, i'm losing, i was just curious to see what happens once I sotp losing and begin maintaining. it's awesome to see so many 5'2 people, this thread is a great idea, now people who are losing weight cna get an idea of when to start maintaining and how.

thanks  jkr0319!

I'm 20, 5'8" and weigh 130 lbs.  I eat between 1500 and 1800 calories a day and do aerobics and strength training for 30-60 minutes three or four times a week.  I hit my "maintenance" range of calorie intake just by listening to my body.  I eat enough at a meal to feel satisfied but not full and have a healthy snack, usually fruit, anytime I feel hungry.  This method has worked pretty well for me.  I don't stress too much about the number of calories I'm eating.  I just try to make the healthiest choice I can every time I eat something. Smile

Jesh...compared to you guys on here who are around my height and maintaining, I think I should be losing a few more before I maintain.  I have been eating about 2,000-2,500 a day and have not gained with that amount.  But I have not lost either.  Oh, I'm 27 years old, 5'9"/f/150lbs.  I seriously think if I were to lose more weight there would not be much left of me!  Oh well....so much for that Dairy Queen sundae I just devoured!

i'm 5'8"/f/144 & 50 years old.  i haven't started maintaining yet, but i've done some maintaining while losing, so i think i'm prepared.  LOL  i hope so!  it's kind of scary thinking about it.  i don't want to gain one single pound back!!!

actually, i want to get down to 134 & then maintain.  :D  that way, if i gain a few pounds it won't really matter...  i guess...

We are very similiar!

5'1", F, 27y, 100lbs

I start out with roughly 1500 calories as a base number and then add back any exercise I do that day.

Example:

M - kickboxing 45m (325 calories)...eat about 1825

T- run 3miles (225 calories)...eat about 1725

W - weights 45 m (100 calories)...eat about 1600

R - kickboxing 45m (325 calories)...eat about 1825

F - weights 45m (100 calories)...eat about 1600

Sa - kickboxing 45m (325 calories)...eat about 1825

Su - weights 60m(125 calories)/run 3m (225 calories)...eat about 1850

Of course my routine can vary some depending on what is going on in my life, and so can how much I eat. I try not to worry if I go over my calories on occasion, as there are also days that I am under. I am starting to wonder if I might should start off with a higher base number, but I am just going to have to play with it and see.

i'm almost identical to you guys too - i'm 23 y/o; F; 5'1"; 100 lbs; and attempting to figure out what I need to do in order to maintain as well. currently i'm eating anywhere from 1300- 1800 cals/day.  i run between 5-7 miles a day and try to bicycle everywhere possible; as well as getting a good yoga session in 4-5 days/week. i'm thinking i may need to up my cals to 2000 in order to maintain at my weight, at least if i stay as active as i am, right?

5'6/F/19 YO/110-113lbs (depending on TOTM)

Barely maintaining on 3000kcal per day. Darn high metabolism. I would be quite happy eating 1200 or less.

5'5"/F/48YO/126-129

wishing I had audience's metabolism...but lacking that... maintaining on 1500ish.

5'2-5'3... Female... 18... 106lbs

I have been maintaining on 1600-1800cal for over a month now, after upping from 1200-1400cal! (and gaining 15-20lbs on this low amount, up from 87lbs)

I do want to get back down to about 100-104lbs or so, but right now I am all about being healthy again... I refuse to restrict anytime soon, for now it is eat more and excersize regularly to get my metabolism back on track :)

21 years old, 5 foot 2.5 inches (yes the .5 makes a difference! ha ha!), 95-98 pounds, and I eat roughly 1200 to 2000 calories a day (yes, big range, but it is good to keep my body/metabolism guessing!), for exercise I work out (cardio) for 100 + minutes a day(7 days a week) and when I have free time/remember I will do push ups &/or sit ups...

Just started maintenance on July 4. This is a 2 week (to 1 month) trial to make sure my metabolism is in check after 3 months of eating less to lose.

5'11", 158lbs, 2050 calories per day (not including exercise adjustments).
