it's an odd question, but i'm curious. for your next birthday (whether your birthday has happened this year already or not) what kind of cake do you want? do you even want a cake?

i personally just want a HUGE blizzard from dairy queen, not a whole cake.

last year on my birthday i ate half a cake all alone and then sat on my kitchen floor and cried haha. i don't want a repeat of that this year :|

My birthday isn't until next May, but I think I want the strawberry cheesecake from the pub down the street from us. It'll be my birthday, so I'll allow myself the splurge, plus they add a pile of fresh strawberry halves beside the slice so it's "healthy", right? ;)

I love their cheesecake. It's creamy and smooth and they make it right there. Oh great, now I want some, but I'm at work.

My other choice would have been chocolate pudding cake from the diner (also near us), but sadly they no longer have this on their menu. It was chocolate with chocolate icing, and thick chocolate pudding in the middle.

My b-day is at the end of September and my husband's b-day is the day before mine! Last year I made him a cookie cake (his favorite) with milk chocolate and white chocolate chips. I'll probably do the same again this year. Two of our good friends have b-days around the same time too (the day after me) so between the 4 of us celebrating I probably won't have my own birthday cake, which is fine with me. There will be plenty of cake to go around, and I LOVE anything sweet. If I had to pick something for myself tho, I've recently been gorging on angel food cake with fresh blueberries :)

my brithday is sunday and my mom is making me a regular out of the box chocolate cake with funfetti frosting, my favorite!

i'm eating a HUGE piece of it tomorrow! woohoo!

My birthday was two days ago, and for as long as I can remember my mother has been making me peach pie with vanilla ice cream.  I can't wait to see her and the pie this weekend!

It's really simple and easy to make, but my favorite cake is funfetti cake. I like to top with vanilla frosting with sprinkles on top. My birthday is in two weeks and I am turning 22, so I will definetly be cooking this cake. My second favorite is angel food cake with cream cheese frosting and fresh fruit. Angel food cake is ALOT healthier too!!

A slice of Junior's carrot cheesecake would be heavenly.  But then again, I still have until next March to decide xD.

Oatmeal raisin cookie cake, Carrot cake, or icecream cake. Yum!~ ;]

carrot with 'cream cheese' frosting!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last year we went to Mongolian Barbecue for my birthday dinner and bought a Coldstone Cake Batter Ice Cream cake for dessert (because I don't really care for cake), but I think this year I would just want one of those BD's MASSIVE Mud Pie Ice Cream things. Man, those are sooooo delicious. I can eat one by myself and don't even feel guilty.

Hey Jules, my b-day is sunday too!! we rock!

I am torn between the following - a tres leches cake (deadly in cals - I know), a carrot cake, brownie cake or key lime pie.. I guess I need to figure what I want (soon) as I'll have to bake it today!

You know, ever since I was a little kid, my favorite cake had always been angel food cake. Not kidding. It's bizzare enough that I was a four year old who just happened to love a cake; that just happened to be fat-free. It's pretty much impossible to make a lacto-vegetarian angel food cake though, and besides, sweets don't really hold any desire to me nowadays. Not even a little... most of the time.

I'll probobly make myself some fresh gingerbread or homemade banana frozen yogurt. Mmmm... frozen bananas are heaven.
