| At work.? What's in YOUR Lunchbox today? | ||

I thought this would be a great topic so we can all compare our brown bag lunches and see if we are all on the right track! Remember~ If you have a nice lunch box you are more likely to be happy that you are on a diet because the first thing we see is the lunch bag not the food.. Our minds work on Eye appeal! enjoy your lunch! In my blue bag: I work 7:30am-5:30 pm by the way Breakfast- 3/4 cup of Eating Right Granola with raisens. Knock off of Kashi but cheaper! Snack- Red Del. Apple. Lunch- Perdue Perfect Portions Chicken over romaine and spinach. Snack- 100 calorie pop corn! I always bring an extra snack in case I drag. Today's back up snack Green Grapes!

Sounds yummy! Today in my awesome lime green insulated lunch bag with my name on it i brought: Breakfast: Fat Free Yogurt, 1 cup Crispix cereal mixed with 1/4 cup Fiber one cereal, (also ate a few cherries a co-worker shared with me- yum!) AM Snack- Banana Lunch- Sandwich with avacado slices, fat free cream cheese, baby spinach, sprouts and cucumber. Carrots Sticks and hummus, red grapes PM Snack- Gala Apple If i start dragging I usually get some hot green tea and there is also mixed nuts in the kitchen i'll grab sometimes. =) |

hey im in england and its nearly 5 here so im going home soon. As i dont feel hungry first thing i grabbed some brown toast on the way to work, and a large capri sun, which i know is full of sugar but it gives me energy to power walk. when i got in at about 8.45 il ate my two slices of toast with a cup of tea. about 11.30 i had a mini jam doughnut, i know thats bad too, but hey it was mini! and it was a colleagues birthday so who wants to be boring! about 1ish i had half of a salad, it was chargrilled pepper and and three bean salad which is a total of 48 calories. i went to the gym at 2.30 and burned 330 calories, which isnt a lot i know but i only have an hour and that includes getting changed and showering so i end up with only 20mins on the treadmill and 5 mins on the bike. when i got back i finished my salad. and had some pineapple which was 44 calories. ive had just over 560 calories in total today. which is so good for me, usually im around 800 now, minus the gym! how did i do? i think your lunch sounds lovely by the way! I LOVE grapes! there excellent frozen too! |

What a fun topic! Well, I work from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, roughly, just as a point of reference. 8 am - breakfast: Slim Fast shake 10:30 am - snack: Special K bar 12:30 pm - lunch: Romaine and spinach salad with grilled chicken - low cal dressing on the side 2:30 pm - snack: low-fat cottage cheese 5:30 pm - snack: Apple 7:30 - dinner: Grilled fish and asparagus on the grill I don't usually do the 5 pm snack, but my husband, who coaches baseball, has practice tonight and we're eating dinner later than we normally do so I assume I'll need something at about 5. |

Working today from 7:30-4:00...brought my black lunch bag with the colorful stipes down the side! I love it!!! Anyways here's the deal: Breakfast (8:00) cup of coffee with skim milk and 1/2c Special K Protein plus cereal -dry Snack (10:30) the whole bag of Smart Balance Fat Free/Low Sodium popcorn Lunch (1:30) 1/2c of Special K Protein plus cereal -dry Snack (2:30) a HUGE red delicious apple 2nd Snack...aka going home energy booster (3:30) curves 100 calorie snack bar...chocolate peanut MY FAVORITE!!! -also in my lunch bag I put 4 bottles of Aquafina flavorsplash water that I drink throughout the day. |

Today I didn't have much time to prepare since it was a late night last night. Turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread (I usually cut in half, and eat one part for lunch, then the other part for my mid afternoon snack) Raw Green Beans Plum Kashi Granola Bar I always have almonds and granola bars in my desk if I need them. |

Currently I bring my breakfast, lunch, and snacks in a Baggu Bag (a re-usable shopping bag), today's is fusia. I plan on buying some recycled cotton re-usable lunch bags in the near future, then I'll use those. Breakfast: Slimfast and fruit blend (1/2 can slimfast, banana, strawberries, & honeydew all blended together and frozen) Morning snack: apple Lunch: Chicken and brown rice leftovers, yellow pepper, green pepper, banana Afternoon snacks: grapes, carrots, string cheese Since my lunch is a little bigger than normal I might end up saving the grapes for an evening treat instead of an afternoon snack. |

This makes me want my lunch already! Anyway, I have a big salad with romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper and some sliced up baked tofu. I'll put some balsamic vinegar on it when the time comes, I have a bottle I keep here. Then, and this is unusual for me but it sounded good this morning, I have an almond butter sandwich on two thin slices of whole grain bread and a tiny bit of quince paste (which is basically just quince preserves). And then for a snack a big organic Fuji apple. |

I eat breakfast at home. Oatey Meal, yumm. My lunch box, on the other hand, is: Pink. Whenever hubby buys me something like this, it's always pink. Pink travel mug, pink earphones, pink lunchbox :) Filled with: 1 medium apple 1 serving of "reduced guilt" TJ's white cheddar chips 1 salad - spinach, cherry tomatoes, feta, lite italian dressing, hot pepper rings, sunflower seeds, and crackers And then at my desk there's usually an ounce or half ounce of almonds. I think it's crazy, I feel like I bring hardly anything to work anymore :) When I wasn't paying attention, I used to pack the pink lunchbox totally full! |

Breakfast was at home.
10 am snack: light blueberry yogurt and 6 triscuit thin crisps lunch: noodleburger casserole (my roomie's specialty) and a spinach salad with red grapes, almonds and poppy seed dressing. 4 pm snack: leftover stir-fried chicken and mushrooms with sesame green beans. |

Well, Im not at work but I just packed my bf off to work with a huge lunch! (he's a 12 hour night shift)Pasta with Tuna + Sweetcorn + olive oil He's a fussy guy, so hopefully that'll go down well! Myself, for lunch I had: Tortilla wrap + coleslaw + 2 quarn slices + lettuce |

Breakfast at home... But my multipocketed lunch bag (I find the pockets keep me distracted from binging on my snacks/lunch when I'm not supposed to eat them yet!): morning snack: fat free yogurt (sweetened with fruit & splenda) + granola Lunch: whole wheat tortilla with 2 slices of summer sausage lunch meat (my weakness!) with half a slice of deli provolone cheese and lots of baby spinach & mustard. Plus 1.5 cups of cantaloupe for a sweet tooth finish. afternoon snack: desert tofu that is flavoured peach/mango |

Oooh, I love my lunchbox, and hate when I don't pack a lunch. I eat 5 meals a day, basically every 3 hours, so I bring 3 a day to work. Today, a little boring, they are all the same (one of each for each meal): 3 portions of garlic chicken breast (boneless, skinless, organic, and oh soo garlicy...yummm) 3 portions of broccoli 3 portions of salad (black olives, white beans, onions, geren peppers, radishes, cucumbers, carrots, scallions) I drink water. Needless to say, today my breath STINKS of garlic!!!! |

I am not a lunch or breakfast person. Breakfast: 2 cups of coffee with cream, water, 1 piece of raisin toast dry Lunch: 1 yoplait smoothie light, 1 banana, water Dinner: Lean cuisine asian chicken pasta, 2 kung pao dumplings, 1 cup strawberries, water Compared to other posters mine looks pretty sad. I get sleepy when I eat at lunch though, so I just try to avaod food during the day if I can. I may round everything out with a sugar free/fat free pudding when I get home from work tonight. That should keep me around 1200. |

Good topic!
This is a 65% of the time lunch box...(which is pretty and pink by the way) - I work 8am-5pm. Breakfast 9-10am - Special K Fruit and Yogurt (I leave the box here and bring fresh milk everyday). Lunch - 12-1pm - Today was a Teriyaki Chicken from Smart Ones (230 calories). Snack - Usually 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and apple butter. Its the most satisfying. Today - I ran out of cottage cheese so I have a South Beach Diet bar. I save most of my calories for the evening since I am at my weakest then. I am extra hungry this week (always the week before TOTM) so I have a 100 calorie bag of popcorn that is sounding pretty good right now. |

My lunchbox (well bag) is pink with red hearts and cherries on it. It makes people smile when they see me carrying it :) Today I had NO time to prepare breakfast/lunch, as I got home late from the long weekend and managed to sleep in as well, so it is not as interesting as usual: Breakfast: One homemade power cookie and 1/3C yogurt with cinnamon and honey Lunch: Veggie chili from the freezer, 1/2bag of Oreo Thinsations Snack: 4 dried apricots I am completely out of fruit and that was the last frozen lunch I have...have to get to the grocery store tonite! |
