| Ice cream! | ||

Ok us health addicts! I know that some (if not most) of us are guilty as charged when it comes to ice cream! I have a huge love for ice cream and I was just wondering what people have tried and enjoy.
I've been going to the grocery stores and have been getting Edy's Slow Churned ice creams because of the creamy texture *I LOVE* and the fact that it's lower in fat. I've recently tried Kemp's Fat Free Frozen Yogurt - Cookies and Creme and I love it! It's so good with only 100 calories per serving (1/2 cup as usual).
Anyone have any recommendations? |

I love those tiny, single serving Ben and Jerry's and Haagen Daaz. They aren't lower in fat or calories, but I don't eat a whole pint either (which is what I do with the slow churned, no self-control here.) Most are about 270 calories and the perfect little size. yum. Plus they even come with their own little spoon under the lid! |

I'm like an alchoholic, when it comes to ice creame. So I stay away from it. |

I go nuts for the chocolate dark chocolate hagen daaz bars. I can't control myself either so I buy one bar at a time. |

| i recommend single-serve ice cream cones, because real ice cream is delicious. i love ice cream so much and have been eating it in place of lunch for a few days, surprisingly i'm losing weight. it's a lovely indulgence when only a small amount. if you're looking for low-calorie, soy delicious green tea and vanilla are dairy-free ice creams with only 110 calories per 1/2 cup. so delicious, but not as decadent | ||

| I do not buy tubs of ice cream because I know I cannot measure out 1/2 cup of ice cream and eat just that 1/2 cup and I would sneak bites constantly. So when I do eat ice cream I go to McD's and get a cone or I like to buy the Sweet Freedom Fudge Lites. Way better then the fat free or sugar free fudgesicles. Only 70 cals for 2 good sized bars. | ||

I know. I hate that it's so hard to control my portions when I have that friggin big tub in my freezer full of amazingness. I recently got some waffle cones to put the ice cream in. They're only 50 calories and all together with one serving it's only 150 with that fat free frozen yogurt.
Nice little treat. :) |

I am also an avid ice cream lover - promise. I used to buy the lowest calorie ice cream i could fine which was (I think) by breyers, there no sugar added (splenda sweetened) light ice cream. Its 70-80 calories for most of the flavors. Recently though after doing a lot of research, I found a local mom and pop ice cream shop that sells whats called 'only 8'. It's a frozen yogurt, only has 8 ingredients, and ready.. is only 8 calories an oz! Haha, I always go and buy a whole pint to eat :P I count it as about 130 calories and the best part it, the place I go to changes flavors up every 4-5 days and theres such a variety. http://www.only8frozenyogurt.com/ There is their website, but it isn't very informative, so i would suggest searching around your area to find it, goodluck (: |

luckily I'm lactose intolerant so I don't eat ice cream very often. We tried the Slow Churned and we all didn't like it at all. My husband and son prefer vanilla so I get variations of that (double vanilla, vanilla bean). Tonight Husband came over and we had Taco Bell and ice cream at Baskin Robbins. I thought about sticking with sherbet but felt that would too dumb. I wasn't in a sherbet mood why eat it? So, I took a ong my lactase supplement and ordered jamoca ice cream. Yea me. When I was a kid and couldn't stomach ice cream (and didn't know why) I ate ice milk. Back then I liked it a lot but I haven't had it since.

mmm so im also definitely a fan of the slow & churned....i ESPECIALLY love the slow churned frozen yoghurt flavours- strawberry, cherry vanilla swirl, and chocolate vanilla are the best at only 100 kcals per half cup. I highly recommend skinny cow as well...the ice cream sandwiches are delicious at 140 kcal (4 g protein/3-4 g fibre as well!)...as are the skinny dippers at 80 kcal and the skinny cow ice cream cones (vanilla caramel is the best) at 150. Klondike slim-a-bear is actually decent as well at 100 calories...haha i am an ice cream maniac myself :) |

breyeers has 100-calorie ice cream cups i believe, and dairyqueen has a 45 calorie fudge bar, if you're alright with artificial sweeteners. i used to be an icecream ADDICT. but in the last week or so, i've decided i don't like it anymore. dairyqueen blizzards used to be my FAVORITE FOOD, but the last 2 i've had haven't tasted nearly as good. |

I'm an Ice Cream junkie, so I have to stay away from the stuff. And Edy's Rocky Road flavor is so good it should be illegal!! |

i agree that the so delicious (there's also soy delicious and purely decadent made by the same company, and they're all good) line is amazing. no cholesterol, and no tummy aches! my bf likes the chocolate kind, and i don't care much for plain chocolate ice cream, so that keeps me away from it. i usually try to stick with sorbet as it's all-around better for you. |
