I have been doing good as far as food is concerned and exercising....everything seems to be right..eating the right calories...i am 5"1' and 164.50 lbs, have been eating about 1200-1500 calories everyday and workout for 5-6 days a week for about 1-2 hrs each day.
But all I am loosing is 1-2 lbs a month.PLease tell me if there is something that can help me.
I think the only thing I am not taking care about is chocolate.I each a small piece of dark chocolate every other day.
And I am not sure if yogrt is not good for me.
I eat a dannon light n fit with strawberries as afternoon snack and also yoplait with strawberry after dinner.
PLease suggest, any suggestion would be a great help.
I am really worried.
I think it is quite possible that you are not eating enough calories. What kind of workout do you have? How many calories are you burning? What is your daily burn besides your workout? You want to aim for a 500-1000 calorie deficit, too much more than that can hinder your weight loss.
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come along and be able to help you a bit more....
A bit of chocolate a day shouldn't hurt. Yogurt is good for you, and always help me satisfy my sweet tooth, so I wouldn't worry about those food choices.
Maybe with working out that much you need to up your calories.
I exactly do not know how much I burn and how much I consume but I try to do a calculation in my mind which I think could be wrong.
Here is my routine http://caloriecount.about.com/forums/post/933 13.html
it revolves around this most of the times.
b'fast :oatmeal with some raisins and little brown sugar+2 Tbspns 2 % milk/one mulit grain toast with hummus +tea/coffee (with 1/2 cup 2 % milk)+ apple + tea (on the days i have to eat heavier lunch)
lunch:mung beans sprouts stir fried with sumin and lemon juice + yogurt after some time + a piece of dark chocolate ocassionally/cole slaw salad/progresso soup 1/2 can/stir fried veggies
Snack:fruit (apple, plum)
After some time tea + some crackers like triscuit, some almonds+a slice of bread sometimes.
Dinner: Yogurt with fruits+ handful of cheerios+omelette with veggies/some lentil soup/some veggie tht i make for my husband .
I am 5"1' and 164 lbs and according to cc i burn 1900 calories with a sedentary lifestyle but I workout most of the days so it is not sedentary..
