used to love bread, but now use tortillas for sandwiches.  I even wrap eggs and turkey bacon in them.

Eating anything wrapped in a tortilla, is that called ' a burrito' ?

I think of a burrito as a Mexican food...lol

I would call turkey, or any lunch meat, eggs, ect. on a tortilla a "wrap"

ok, thanks.

A burrito is a flour tortilla wrapped around a filling.  The filling can be anything so feel free to continue using the term.

i do that too! i think burrito as mexican but caitling is right if you google it that's what it says lol. i like to make PBJ's on them and take them to work. I use a fat free tortilla, reduced fat crunchy peanut butter and sugar free grape jam, everyone at work thinks it looks nasty but it is SO good! wraps, burrito whatever you wanna call them are amazing!

I love the orange tomato ones, but they have more calories, so I usually eat the small low carb ones.

Sometimes I crisp them in the oven and have just enough to dip some salsa without buying one of those giant bags of tortilla chips.

I don't know how I lived this long without them.

PB & J sounds good for a bike ride snack.

thanks everyone.

I thought a burrito had to include beans/meat and rice in a tortilla, as opposed to a fajita or taco, which is just meat in a tortilla. i'd refer to what you're making as a "wrap".

What you would be eating is called wrap :D  but in this context might as well call it a burrito...Funny thing is, I've been to Mexico several times and have never seen a burrito - it litterally means little donkey.

Same here... went to mexico and no burritos anywhere!  They look at you really funny if you ask for one! :)
