Hey everyone! I am really looking for some different kinds of low-cal sweet snacks to indulge during the day. I came across a few like graham crackers with cool whip in the middle (frozen), and they were awesome, and someone else had something on here about mixing 1 tbs of peanut butter with 3 tbs of cool whip to make peanut butter mousse, and that was outstanding!! Anyone else have any quick little recipes like that for a mid-day snack or something to fight off the sweet tooth. I loved those above. Please gimme more!!!!!! |

I like to freeze bananas that are ripe. Slice them up and put them on a cookie sheet in the freezer for 2-3 hours. Then blend one banana's worth 1 tbs of peanut butter and 1 tbs of chocolate syrup. It should turn out thick and creamy like ice cream. I tastes awesome! |

OMG! That sounds totally delicious!. Yes I do use splenda. It's the only artificial sweetener that I will use. I will definitely try that out. I hope more people get on with some good ideas! Thanks alot!!!! |

I also do frozen bananas, but I slice them up into a bunch of little circles, and then when they're frozen, I put a little sugar free chocolate or strawberry syrup on them, and little cool whip or light whipped cream, and it tastes just like an ice cream sundae! |

Yeah, my kids said they would eat it any day over cookies and ice cream. Plus, it's good for you. You can also add 1 - 2 tbsps of whipping cream to frozen fruit and blend it into a sorbet. It would be expecially good with bananas and strawberries. I made baked apples one day and simmered them in the oven at 350 for about 30 minutes. I poured about 1/4 inch of fruity herbal tea in the dish and topped them with cinnamon. This was delicious enough, but the next day I took some of the left over apples and blended it with some frozen rasberries and a little whipping cream and it was wonderful as well. I did not use any added sweetner but a little splenda might make it even better. If I'm not sure if it's hunger, I like to make a pot of flavored decaf coffee in the kind of pot that makes four servings and pour most of it into my biggest coffee mug with a 1/4 cup of 2% milk and sweeten it with splenda. I know it's not super exciting but it can tide you over for a little while. |

You're pic is funny. I don't have any buddies on here yet...and don't know how to invite you to be mine but I see you are in a buddy group. Want to add me to your list? I could use the motivation. |

I'm allergic to bananas and peanut butter--go figure--but I do smoothies with ff vanilla yogurt, blueberries, rasperries, and strawberries all blended with ice, and that's pretty tasty. :)
I also put peeled apple slices, splenda, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and walnuts in a baking dish and top them with a few oats and bake them up like a cobbler. That's very tasty! :D |

I like frozen blueberries and milk. Put some frozen, unthawed, blueberries in a bowl and pour a half cup of fat free milk over them. Stir until the milk freezes to the berries. It's like blueberry ice cream. Add sweetener to the milk before adding to the bowl, if desired. |

Put 1 tsp brown sugar(17 cals), 1 tsp cinnamon(6 cals), 5 sprays of spray butter(0 cals), and a sweet apple cut into bite size chunks in a large coffee mug. Microwave for 5-8 minutes (until the cinnamon-sugar sauce becomes gooey) and enjoy. It should boil in the microwave, and it's the sweetest treat for 130 calories I've ever had! |

My favorite is frozen raspberries and yogurt. 2/3 - 3/4 cup frozen raspberries (I like to pound the raspberries in to little pieces with a mallet while still in the bag - seems to taste better that way. Try VIP raspberries if you can find them) 1/4-1/3 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt Stir it up and eat! It tastes like ice cream - but better for you and less calories. (Less than 100 per bowl.) I sometimes add a little fat free reddi whip on the top. |

I absolutely hate sweets - chocolate above all (except when it's the raw form and bitter :D)...But I find Syntrax Nectar protein supplement(Fuzzy Navel flavor or something) blended with soy milk and bannana very very tasty...rich in protein but probably gettin up there on Calories with the Banana and Soy added in - at least the protein mix doesn't have carbs |

My mom calls this stuff Slop because, well, that's kind of what it looks like. But it tastes awesome! 1 package of sugar free jello (any flavor you like), small curd cottage cheese, and sugar free cool whip. It's really tasty, and I don't usually like low-cal foods. I especially don't like cottage cheese, but if you use the small curd kind you don't even know it's in there. Takes care of a sweet tooth craving, and also a great source of protein. |
