| What to eat at this restaurant | ||

I'm going to a restaurant called Q tomorrow night, and I just wanted an opinion on what to get that's healthy and low calorie and all that. I'm going with my brother and his friends and I don't want to seem like I'm the silly girl who hardly eats anything. http://www.qrestaurant.com/dinner.php I was thinking about the Ultimate Vegan Grill, or maybe the salmon? Any ideas? |

i would go for the vegan grill or the salmon with papaya salsa. and if you are really worried about it you can always eat a little less during the day to leave room for some extra calories, or go for a walk after or before dinner! and there are always to go boxes. have fun! |

I would go for the chicken with papaya salsa and a side of beans. I would make sure the salsa is on the side and only eat half the chicken breast, making sure it had no skin. The vegan grill, since it doesn't have a lot of protien, may leave you feeling hunger later and the salmon may be prepared with butter or oil, you should ask. Good luck and have fun! |

Of the appetizers and sides, here's what I think would be lowest in calories. (In case you want one of those, too.) Appetizer: Grilled Vegetables, Peppers and Portobellos with Balsamic Salad: Mixed Salad With Balsamic, Carrots, Tomatoes And Marinated Cucumbers

the ultimate vegan grill, the chicken breast, or the salmon all sound like fine choices. just makr sure the emat has no skin, isn't cooked in butter or oil and ask for all dressings/sauces on the side. also, to cut more calories, you could split a meal with your brother or his friends, or just eat half and take the other half home for another time. |

You are going out to what sounds like a pretty good restaurant(ood menu, and small). Get what you like, and one night, don't stress the calories. Account for them during your day, maintaining maybe 100-125 calories every few hours, until about 3 hours before you go out, and then just enjoy yourself. I'd get the New York Strip, and never look back... |

If it's a good restaraunt, enjoy yourself. That burger they have sounds tasty... |
