im just worried about the fact that I work in a resturant and we're having a big brunch buffet with a bunch of bad food. I dont want to end up picking off of it all day.
and I got my mom an iPod shuffle |

i'm going to el fenix (tex mex) with my family including grandparents and my great grandma. and i am DEFINITELY looking forward to some warm tortillas with refried beans and rice. other than that though my mom asked for garden gloves (?? hahah) |

My mom works on Mother's Day...So I'm going to go visit her at work and they are gonna have a BBQ. I'm REALLY not looking forward to the food part of the BBQ cause all they have is hamburgers (I only eat fish...sometimes chicken if we are eating out and they don't have fish), potato salad (don't like it), fruit salad (probably the kind with lots of marshmallows, sugar, etc.) and a ton of other stuff I just don't eat. I plan on eating before I go and then just munching on some veggies while I'm there...if they have any! I'm just gonna talk the whole time probably I have been reconsidering what I'm getting my mom...I was going to get her a day at the spa (Ultimate mani, pedi, facial, and massage) but then I thought that might be kinda dumb. I mean, it would only be good for 1 day then she wouldn't have anything after...I was just about to start a thread asking for more ideas =P |

i have NO cash whatsoever so i'm making my mom a card and a big breakfast of her favorites; french toast with strawberries, coffee and probably more i just can't think of yet. it's not much, but it's better than what i got her last year (nothing) :| |

i made my mom a pot/cup in clay class so im giving that to her plus flowers. im also going to make her favorite breakfast in bed |

Nice to hear you guys are doing nice things for mothers day! I'm going to lunch with my mom tomorrow... I got her a tiny tiny rose bush thingy and a nice picture frame with a picture of me in it :D My cat knocked over the rose bush today though, and broke the little pot it was in!! I was SO mad... but I got a new one today, it's better- blue, her favorite color! hehe |

| I have a tradition of making cakes for special events, so im going to make my mom a apple spice cake for breakfast, lol. Its something durrable since right after our family get together she has to leave on a business trip, and she can take it with her. =) | ||

Well my mom told me a month ago she wanted a beer and pizza party, but then she got sick and has to take meds for a while, so I baked her the chocolatest cake ever (also known as devils food) and made a home made icing of white and dark chocolate. I had a piece and it was really nice. So we had pizza, chocolate cake, and diet cokes haha. It was nice and i'm not going to worry about one day. 1 pizza and a piece of cake won't hurt you. |

Saturday was Mother's Day in Mexico and we are of Mexican Heritage =] I made my mom some french toast and hot chocolate, today I made her this puffed pancake with fresh fruit, she hadn't been very happy these past few days, so I am trying toc heer her up. PLus me and my little sister pitched in $10 each to take her shopping - it's a small amount but we're both kinda broke. T |

I went to Snapfish and created a photo book for my mom. Unfortunately, it won't get here til tomorrow... but I think she'll be very happy about it. She was telling my dad a couple months ago, "She (meaning me) used to write me poems for mother's day... but now she doesn't". So, I wrote her a poem and put it throughout the pages of the book while illustrating it with our family photos. (note: each ... means a new page) To my mother, my friend, They say a picture's worth a thousand words... All our lives... The happiness we seek... Can be found... In the ones... Who have been with you on the journey... And also those... Who have joined you on the way... The memories you've shared... With so many yet to be made. All of the experiences we go through shape who we are.
I think she'll love it. Who wouldn't? I spent a good 12 hours on it, so I hope she does :)
