Not as far as I'm concerned. I adore coffee and drink about 60 ounces of the stuff everyday. |

Not unless you're caffeine-sensitive or prone to indigestion or heartburn. But in those cases it's bad no matter whether you're on a diet. Caffeine is a very safe stimulant--in most cases there is no reason not to indulge, in moderation. It even helps people with medication-resistant ADHD.

| I drink black coffee everyday, and don't bother logging it. I figure the energy-boost cancels out what negligible calories it has. My mom buys flavored coffee, too, so I get all sorts of fancy treats in the morning like vanilla, hazelnut, Christmas flavors like gingerbread... :) | ||

I enjoy coffee on my diet and it hasn't slowed me down any. 116 pounds in less than 11 months. I like mine with a splash of low fat vanilla soy milk, so I get a bit of protein with mine as well and I can avoid the sweetener if I choose. I also like coffee in the evening to help curb my desire to snack late at night. |

| People react to sweeteners different ways and not everyone can afford Stevia. That stuff is so expensive. I personally can use splenda but sweet n low gives me killer headaches. Anyways, back to coffee. My 3 cups of coffee after breakfast are what fill me up and keep me from wanting to eat anything else. I used to have a bad habit of eating breakfast and then scrounging for more food afterwards. So, no coffee is not bad for you when you are on a "diet". | ||

Do the flavored coffees (vanilla bean, etc) have anything added that makes coffee have more calories--I dont really drink coffee, but I was just wondering. |
