Never tried them and curious if they're actually tasty/filling and what's good!

I was absolutely addicted to the dark chocolate sugar free ones, gave them up for a bit, and now find that I'd rather have other things.  But for the nutrition, I'm not sure you can do much better in something sweet!

I've seen the regular (not sugar free) at Harris Teeter and Lowe's Foods in NC.

I really, really wanted to try them but the price of buying a dozen after shipping was ridiculous!!  So I bought a box of the deep chocolate 2-oz, 100-cal muffin mix (which also came out ridiculous, $11 after shipping and that was with the hungry girl discount).  They were good, but not as excellent as I had hoped.  Not as chocolately.  I guess I expected it to taste exactly like a REAL chocolate muffin or cupcake (wishful, I know).  After eating a few I started to like them more.  If they were easily accessible and affordable, I'd probably buy them regularly.

However, I just happened to find them at the grocery store I always go to, and I was absolutely shocked.  They had two varieties of the vita tops, blueberry bran and deep chocolate.  They were out of the chocolate, otherwise I would have picked them up.  So even if your local stores aren't listed on the vita website, check some your grocery stores anyway - I found them in the breakfast frozen section by the waffles.

I cannot seam to find them in the stores. :( But I really want to try them too!!  I guess I will have to keep looking.  Where are people finding them on the West Coast??

I live in San francisco and I've seen them in the larger safeways in the "healthy foods" frozen section. I haven't tried them though since they are so pricey and the ones from zen bakery are much cheaper and tasty (those are sold at trader joe's). Probably whole foods has them, but I haven't looked there.

Thanks! I found them tonight in the freezer section... I had no clue they were frozen.  Do you just leave them sitting out when you want to eat them or do you microwave them??  What is the best way to defrost??
