| May 06 2008 08:15 | ||
Happy Cinco de mayo everyone! Just dos (2) questions! 1. What type of tea do you drink? 2. What do you like to put in it?
My answers: 1. Green tea all the way! 2. I love to put either some lime juice or recently i have just been putting in cinnamon and a pinch of splenda. |

tea is delicious! 1. most anything, but especially chamomile, green tea, or vanilla nut (mm) 2. nothing, i think that fake sugars are too chemical-y and refined sugar is just...well bad. tea is sweet enough for me without stuff added, although occasionally i'll do a bit of milk |

I love tea. 1. Earl Grey all the way. 2. Nothing. I stopped adding milk about 2 years ago and now can't bear it with milk. It tastes greasy with milk now. Cinnamon sounds interesting. |

I like: English Tea Oolong Tea
OCCASIONALLY hot green tea.
I drink them all plain - have never understood the need to put nasty sugar/artificial sweeteners in a drink that tastes so great by itself. |

I like most teas and have a variety in the cupboard. I drink them all straight. No sugar. No honey. No milk. No lemon. Nothing but tea. |

I love Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Irish Breakfast, etc. Occasionally I put a splash of soy milk in otherwise I just drink it straight. I have to choke down green tea though I drink it plain to get the health benefits from it. |

I am a tea snob, it is not my fault, I am otherwise a very down to earth likeable person, but my partner bought me a very expensive, very cool, very functional tea pot with infuser, I drink nothing but organic fair trade looseleaf teas now. Fav's: Jasmine Dragon Balls (they're little tea-leaf pearls that unravel as they steep!) Himalaya Saffron White (rose petals, cardamom, and saffron - white tea - spicy sweetness!) Ginger (a must have! - great for aiding indigestion and warding off colds) Spicy Glow Rooibos (rooibos blend with cinnamon, cloves and orange bits) Chocolate Escape (blended black tea with coconut shavings, roasted erba mate and roobios - smells like kaluha) Golden Peach White (white tea blended with pure peach and tangerine essence, osthmanthus and jasmine flowers) Patisserie (black tea blended with almonds, pstachio, peppercorns, cumin and coriander - perfect for winter) My personal fav: Toasty Almond (herbal tea with almond, apple, cinnamon, and beetroot pieces - smells like breakfast!) What do I put in my tea? You don't spoil your tea with milk and sugar do you? Well, that's what my mum would say.... Generally I drink them straight otherwise you loose a lot of the flavour, but I have been getting into Tea Latte's as a weekend treat by steaming some soy milk and adding some honey. Typically black teas work best for this, although most herbal tea's don't the toasty almond works great. For those of you living in TO and wondering where I get these tea's 1/10 of my paycheck is now given to Tealish (walnut street off Queen west) |

I really like Good earth the original flavor so sweet and spicy. YUM!
I also drink Chai, peppermint ( for some reason it really calms me), and whatever else catches my eye in the store. Good Earth is my fave though ,I will crave it if I run out. I dont add anything to my tea |

I like tea too and I try just about anything that I see!!! I love getting (and giving) tea as gifts. (although, I was at my mother's house last month and saw boxes and boxes of tea I have given her over the past five years....maybe I should rethink the giving tea as gifts...) I like black tea with or without spices or oils like earl grey, chai, english breakfast, and so on and so forth. I like rooibos, red teas and some green teas. I tend to favor the strongest flavors. sometimes I add ice or a lemon wedge. if I make way strong, I'll add some creamer so, I don't know if this works, my teeth don't stain, but mostly I love it plain and room temp. |

I drink earl grey and orange pekoe. I always have it with milk and sweetner. If I'm out of sweetner I can settle for just milk. |

Original Post by supersized:You must go to teavana or something. I love that place they have all hand crafted tea pots w. infusers and you can buy pretty much any kind of loose tea. I love the chia and their caramel. I got hooked on the caramel when one day they just opened the container and filled the store with the smell. oh and im a straight black lipton tea with a little bit of sugar and for a treat cause im not really suppose to have a tea, I either drink the chia or the caramel. |

1. Mostly green, chai, or orange spice. 2. Nothing unless it's chai, in which case I add a bit of skim milk and maybe a teaspoon of sugar. |
