I do pilates, belly dancing and I just ordered Jillian Micheal's 30 day shred and I'm going to try that out. Anyone else? I just started the belly dancing, it worked really well for my mom. She went from around 180 to the 140's without trying to lose it, she just from taking belly dancing lessons. |

Good morning everyone!! I got back into the gym routine this week and I am really proud of myself. It has been a big struggle for me. I am doing the stairmaster and the eliptical machine. I try to do at least 45 minutes of cardio but man, my gym is so crowded after work it's hard to get on a machine. Once I feel good about the cardio I am going to incorporated strength training. Things really have to change for me this time. I feel so unhealthy and I already feel better just working out these last three days. What are your thoughts on the South Beach diet? My best friend is doing it and it is making me think! Have a great day team 3!!! |

Hi everyone - I'm new to exercise - which I am trying to change! I bought myself a pedometer, and I have been gradually increasing the amount of steps each day. I am now up to around 11,000 - 12,000 steps per day, which for my stride length is just over 5 miles a day. I am feeling much better for it. I've always wanted to do belly dancing - maybe I'll try that next...! Have a great week team! |

Hi Team Three!! I am working out with weights 3 times a week, doing core strengthening 3 times a week, and cardio 6-7 times a week. I have been working out consistently for a month now and hadn't lost anything. This week I started upping my calories, and I have already lost almost a pound! Pride on THREE!!! hahahah Maybe we should just stay with Team Three, then we can have "Pride on Three" as our slogan! hahaha

The cheapest suggestion that I have for anyone who wants to start belly dancing is go to the library and borrow belly dancing instruction videos. The library is actually a pretty good resource for exercise and diet information. I like getting things from there because it's cheap and I can do it from my home and be less self conscious. |
