180's Club
Would anyone like to join a 180's club? I've been stuck in the 80's for quite some time now and would enjoy some company... if anyone's interested.
I'm just on the verge of 189, so I'd love to join you. As soon as I drop just 1.5 more pounds, I'll be there. I like the idea of "graduating" from the 190s!
Yea.. that would be fine. I range from 185-190 usually... so I'm right there with you. Would anyone else like to join us or are we all alone?
Ok this is my first post. I have been using this site on and off for a while and have lost 4.5 lbs. I would love to join the 180s club. I am 5'6 and stuck at 182. I would love help, really a shove from anyone who is willing. I love this site, have been reading the posts for a few months but always backed off on posting anything, although I have wanted to. I think you have given me a reason to be more involved. Thanks
Ugh, I've been stuck between 185 and 187 for like a month. I'd love to join.
tlc, that's cool that you finally decided to post. We'll all ?be the 180 buddys. So.. I'm not really good at leading or anything, but we should probably check in every couple of days and see when one of us (hopefully) graduates to the 170's club. Maybe we can post tips or hints that are working for us.

Oh, this is me! I've come down from 205 lbs fairly well, but have been bouncing between 185 and 189 for the past few weeks.... I've been stepping up the water to try to get passed it.
Hi buddies! I'm back up to 193.4 today because of all the salt I had yesterday. I know it will go down later. I've been stuck on this plateau for 10 days now. I go down a few pounds then back up again. Right now I'm trying the coachdee method of varying caloric intake from day to day. I had a week of 1200 to 1300 and now I'm doing 1500 for a day, then back to 1400, 1300 and back to 1500. We'll see if it jogs my metabolism enough to get me losing again and to finally reach that mini goal of 189!

I set what I call "touch" goals and "tangiable" goals. For instance I've touched my goal of 190 (round number goal) and 189.2 (the lowest I reaced before I fell off the wagon in March).... but I wait until my averages have also gone under those weights before I say that I've officially reached them.
The trend line here is 10 days average, I also keep a monthly running average, and an overall average on an excel chart.
Today I'm sitting at 189 but it's TTOTM... fun! Friggin water weight!

Hey Clairelaine! I'm sure it will go back down. Keep up the good work though. Hopefully everything pays out in the end!
I've been doing good. I lost another pound yesterday. Yay. That brings me to 186.2 today. I'm a little worried now that you mention it though about the salt. I have a Thai Kitchen Rice Noodle Bowl that I brought for lunch. It has 680 mg's of sodium per serving, and there are 2 servings. That's pretty bad, isn't it? Hmm.. I might have to find something else for lunch today.....

BTW, thanks Shaye for starting this thread, I've been feeling caught between the 200 and 150 club not really fitting into either.
No problem. I think the 140/130 club kind of motivated me. I looked around to see if there was a 180's club but I didn't see one. I was hoping that I wasn't the only one in this boat!
Everyone is doing so great this really is the motivation I needed to be serious. I have been walking 2-3 miles a day every other day since last week. I think today I'll walk again (even though I walked yesterday). With this I am also trying harder to drink more water. Good luck all and thanks Shaye.
I'm so glad this will help you tlc. I think I've been doing much better since I got on CC, as well. I'm really glad this is here to help us. Good job on walking! I have been trying to exercise 3 times a week. I have also been walking. I walked on Monday, and will go for another walk today.. *knock on wood.. it looks like it might rain*...
I've been trying to get one of my friends to join CC. She finally made a profile, but hasn't put anything about herself on there but a picture. She's also been trying to lose weight. I have been asking her the last couple of weeks to go for a walk with me, and she kept denying me for different reasons.
She decided to go with me on Monday.. so I may have found a walking buddy, which makes me happy. I also have my 10 month old in the stroller, but he only knows how to say "Hi" and "Ma Ma," so conversations don't usually last too long with him. Hehe.
But she wants to go today too! Hopefully this site will help her like it helps us!!

I just weighed myself and was 182. I want to join the 180 club...hopefully i can graduate soon though!

Good luck to everyone. Claire I know when I have a very salty meal I am a few pounds heavier in the morning. But sometimes I can't resist. Shaye have fun walking, I actually enjoy going by myself sometimes, I can think or not but really just enjoy my time alone. I am home all summer with my kids, 14, 3 and 7 months (I'm a teacher). So sometimes I need to go alone.
Maybe I can join in a few days. I'm 190.5 as of this morning,maybe by the weekend I'll be in the 180's!! Can't wait!!
Count me in!! I'm 184 Hopefully be in the 170's in a few weeks!!
