Thank for this post,  This is great, now, I don't have to feel guilty when snoozing in the sack.l
guess i'm gonna get fat today :)

somebody take a nap for me? does that work?
sorry saro!  Wish I could nap for you - what a plum job that would be!
Saro you won't "get fat" you will just have to fight your hormones.

"There are a number of research studies that all support the thesis that too little sleep leads to weight gain," Ware said. "How that happens is still somewhat unclear, but there are hormonal secretions that are affected with sleep loss that apparently affect appetite and eating."
I have been reading/hearing a lot about this lately. This is also true for children. I was listening to a dr yesterday talking about obesity in children. It really made me think about my kids. I don't want them to go thru what I have been thru with my weight, especially my daughter (my son is really skinny like his dad). Anyway, this dr wrote a book about supersized something, but he specializes in helping children and thier parents with weight issues. One of the points he made is children getting enough sleep. I have been letting my kids stay up later for summer and we have been on lots of vacations. Last night they went to bed at regular time. Thanks for sharing this.
