I want a cute short haircut. I have kept my hair long ever since I was told that my short hair made me look fatter. And yes, that was from a "close" friend.
I've put off seeing an old boyfriend because i'm 10lb's heavier than when he last saw me. Plus I want to look great and rub it in his face. Ha
definitely clothes. jeans, khakis, maybe a couple of cashmere sweaters. we're a long way from bikini season here, so that will have to wait. besides, i still have some exercise to do!
I'm calling Nordstorm's, having a personal shopper assemble a selection of clothing to suit my needs and them leisurely trying them on in the largest dressing room. Ocassional I'll send the personal shopper running for another size, shoes with the right heel height, or jewelry.
I'm going to look handsome men in the eye and smile.... then flash my wedding ring!
then:
SHOP SHOP SHOP
First determine if the goal weight I chose = how I want to look (I've lost half, and don't think I look anywhere near my goal :-s but we'll see).
Then yeah go shopping, I don't like a lot of my current clothing anymore, been putting up with them until I lose the weight so I don't buy stuff that will end up being too big anyway. Then when summer comes hopefully feel comfortable enough to go swimming, maybe even a two piece *gasp*.
a piercing- the industrial!
Shopping!!! LOL when I read the post about Nordstrom above because I was daydreaming about a personal shopper experience at nordies just yesterday. It's definitely on my list!
Even though I'm happily married (17 yrs) I am going to relish having men look at me again and I'm going to be a shameless flirt at least on occasion.
I may even look for a new job!
A whole makeover, including a new wardrobe, significantly upgraded over the current one. For the past decade I've HATED shopping and spent as little on clothes as I could get by with, because nothing looked good on me, because NOTHING looks good on me, I am going to splurge. A personal shopper at Norstrom is definitely part of it.
It'll soon be the season for gift-buying, and for holiday getaways. So why not buy some travel gifts? For kids, moms, dads.
