**Post here to find a weight loss buddy!**

**Please visit the new thread: *Young Calorie Counters ~ POST HERE TO FIND A BUDDY OR TWIN*

Since we have so many recent YCC posts asking for buddies with similar stats, I thought I would make a master post for you all to use, if you want to.

If you are looking for a buddy, post your stats here. If you find someone, you can PM them, post to their journal, or you guys can create your own group and make a new thread just for your group. Whatever works best!

Just please remember to keep it healthy! Weight loss or weight gain, please keep it healthy and in compliance with the posting guidelines.

Not sure if I fit the "YCC' because I am 23, but I still consider myself young! I need a buddy.. I am 5"5" 180 lbs. My short term goal is 150 and long term is 125-130.

I'm 20 years old and 240 lbs.  I'm looking to get to 190 by Jan 1, 2009 (nice, slow, healthy weight loss rate).  My short-term is to lose 30 lbs by June (aka the start of swimsuit season lol).

** I'm not picky, but if there is anyone else out there that has a hypoactive thyroid they are struggling with, I'd love to pair up and share some of our concerns/problems with each other!

I'm 16 years old, 5'8 and 144lbs.  I have an underactive thyroid and severe IBS. My aim for this year is to lose 25lbs, preferably by June, but I know with my medical conditions this will be dificult... Once I reach this, I'm maintaining all the way!
I'm 16 years old, 5'8.5" and weigh 162 lbs.  I play hockey 3 times a week and strength train every once and a while.  My goal is to get to 155 for right now but if I reach that i'm gonna aim for 150- 145
I'm 23 years old. 5'6, weigh 169 pounds.  I'm trying to get down to somewhere between 135-145.

Stephaniebl???

I just joined today. I'm 21 at 225. My goal is 175 by September, if at all possible.

Maybe groupiegirlnj? I don't have a thyroid problem, however it does run in my family. My mom actually had it.

Message me if interested!Smile

Im 15. 5' 7" went from 179 to 134, then bounced to 140.  want to get down to 125.
i'm 17 years old, 5"4' and 115 lbs. i want to be back how i was last summer, at 110. i work around ice cream 8 hours at a time, so it's hard for me to be hungry and not eat ice cream. that's my obstacle. i'm new on this website, if anyone wants to talk, i'm here. =)

I am 17, 5'2, and 190 lbs. I want to drop down to 150, hopefully by the time I go to college this coming fall. If not by then, then by next Thanksgiving. I chose 150 as my final goal (for now) because I have a large frame, and I'd probably start to look sickly if I dropped too far below that. I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I'd love to talk to someone with similar stats, but if anyone in any situation just wants to talk, feel free to send me a message. ^_^

5'4", ~115. want to get down to 110 or so
i feel old! i am 43, girl, 5'5", 150 want to be at 135 by feb 14th

I'm 16. I'm 5 ft. 1.5 in. My current weight is 101. I am currently recovering from an eating disorder and I'm trying to lose 6-9 more pounds in a healthy way. I would love to have a buddy to help keep me on track and prevent me from going back to my old ways.  Please message me if interested.

I'm 15, around 5'2"?  (not quite sure what my height is...might be taller?).  I'm around 110-112 pounds right now, hoping to get down to less than 100.  Not quite sure what my dream weight is, I just want to feel good about my body (and drop from the 50-ish percentile for BMI down to around the 15th percentile).

I dropped from around 120 over the summer and my lowest was 105, but then I gained some back.  Hopefully I can find a buddy to help motivate me further.  :D  Please message me if you think we can help each other.  Thanks!

Hi! ^_^

I'm 14 years old, 5 foot 5-6 and 180 pounds ( as of 2 weeks ago). I am looking to get down to 145 by this time next year. I also have suffered from an Eating Disorder, but during the last year and... 3 months I have been binging non-stop. I have gained 40 pounds in around 15 months, and I want to get to a healthy weight by actually eating healthy, hence not eating anything at all. It would be awesome if someone would buddy me and we could share our weight loss progress together, and not go overboard or anything.  Thanks :P

i'm 49, 5'8" & 172 today!  :D  down from 218 on 9/4.  i'd like to get down to 130, but i might quit before that.  that would be a 20 bmi, so i'm not real concerned about the 130.

i'm a very picky eater & love my junk food, but i walk alot.  i try to burn at least 600 calories daily by walking on my new treadmill & i try to eat 1200 - 1400 calories a day.  alot of days i'm over that amount, but the walking covers it, i guess

and fat!  omg!!!  i love fat  LOL

I am 21 and 215. I am trying to get down to 190ish by May 1st 2008

Hi! I'm 18, 5'5" and I weight 140lbs.  I'm trying to get down to 125.

Please send me a message if you have interest!

I'm 17 years old, 5'5.5'' and weight about 130 lbs. right now. I'm not too concerned about my weight right now, because I know it is healthy. If I can weight less, that would be great! Probably no less than 125, I think. What I am more concerned about is actually toning up the fat that is just.. there.

I was "temproarily anorexic", sort of, for about a month or two, and bridging on it for about one, so I lost weight quickly but because of that it took muscle, too, so I have some extra fat that needs to be turned into muscle. Because I work almost every day (two jobs, so to speak.. one is an internship) and then I am taking classes that I shouldn't have signed up for, I'm stressed and haven't had time to exercise aside from walking for about a month or two now. So basically, I need someone to help motivate me to start weight training again so I can tone up.

Hi! I'm 19 years old, 5'1" and weigh 152 lbs. I'm trying to get around 120 - 130 lbs by May 15 2008!

Anyone interested just send a message my way please.
