Alli diet pills

Hi, I am wondering if anyone is using the Alli pill which was recently approved by the FDA to help block fat absorption.  It is supposed to be used in conjunction with a reasonable diet.  If anyone is using this pill can you please tell me how long you have been taking Alli and what your results  have been

The pills recommend you eat a healthy and balanced diet and exercise while taking them.

Which is what is needed to do anyways to lose weight the real way. This to me seems like another scam, regardless of the FDA's approval.

It has been five days for me so far on the pill.  I did start noticing anything until yesterday.  I can actually see the oily unprocessed fat coming out of my system.  I am still struggling the diet part but I am so eager to lose the weight that I decided to give it a try.  I never really had a high fat intake so I am not experiencing any bad side effects.
the part you are seeing ... that oily substance... is in your toilet.... I took Xenical... that is the same thing as ALLI but its the RX strength.. you may not notice AS MUCH as a side affect because its 1/2 the strength.. I just hope that oily substance doesnt end up in your undies...as with most people of the regular strength....
Haha,

loosingthepounds that was pretty funny. I actually have a cousin that took some kind of weightloss drug a long time ago and she had that problem. Said she actually had to take off work cuz she couldn't hold it. =) I would really like to hear as much response as possible about Alli though. My mom is currently taking it and I haven't had a chance to call and ask her how she's doing with it. If I hear from her and how it's going, I will be sure to let you all know!

so what were your results with Xenical?  Did you acually notice any additional weight loss?
I've been taking Alli for 2 months now.  Before Alli, I had lost 53lbs on my own from exercise and eating healthy.  Of course I was starting to plateau a little because I have been doing this since January.  Anyway, I've lost 23lbs since taking the Alli.  I've also still stayed with the exercise and healthy eating.  Word of advice, if you do not plan on doing the exercise or changing your eating habits, Alli will not help you lost weight, but will give you all those oily side affects.  Losing weight is a complete change of life, but well worth it :)  Good luck if you plan on using the Alli.  I love what it's done to push me forward and will continue using it with everything else I am doing.
I took Alli for about a month  and ended up with a high LFT level. I stopped it and now its better.
I did lose a little bit, but it wasnt worth it after I went for a normal physical and found it was affecting my liver. Thats kinda scarey.
My husband went to GNC and bought me the 90 capsule starter pack yesterday.  He said the girl at the counter told him she is using Alli and that she's lost 150 lbs so far.  BUT, she also said it is because she has been sticking to the Alli healthy eating plan and you have to do this if you want results without treatment effects.  I start mine on Monday so, I have no results to give yet, but when I do I'll post them.  She also gave him a good tip on banishing sweet cravings for anyone who's interested.  She said to use organic apple cider vinegar as a dressing for salad and it works for her every time.  She no longer craves sweets after doing that, plus it's much healthier.
