im back-MEESH

Hey everyone.

I haven’t been posting here for a bit here on CC but I have some good news. I got back from my trip from Mexico about a week ago  and I have gained a good bit of weight. I look really healthy and my arms have more muscle mass, I have a booty again! =] And I have color! Im so happy with the results people have been telling me how nice I look and that im so much more prettier. But really outside looks really shouldn’t matter because I can wake up now and get out of bed without feeling like im going to plop on the floor, I can concentrate. I can LAUGH like I used to( that’s a big one for me)and I have so much energy to run around and just be normal. It feels so good. Initially in my departure to mexico I was a little iffy, new area, new surroundings but I wanted to do this right. A new school year is about to start and I just wanted to gain the weight, but have an excellent time in mexico in the mean time aswell. I went to puerto penasco and I fell in love with the ocean. I became infatuated with it. I would swim for hours and after dinner thunder storm or no thunderstorm I was at the sea catching sea creatures and returning the lost ones back to sea. I would dig up sea crabs and laugh and run. I never felt more at home. I was so happy.

 As far as food came, im not sure if this is healthy or not but I ate a ridiculous amount of fat, I craved it. I found that I had painful headaches that couldn’t be satisfied unless I ate some amount of fat (weird huh? I looked this up and found this http://harrietbrown.blogspot.com/2008/05/fat- matters.html). My typical day was

breakfast =two coconuts and a large banana mango smoothie made with over a cup of half and half.

Snack=2-3 avocados and dry edamame

Lunch= quesadilla with extra cheese, tomato with olive oil. Pina colada

Snack=magnum icecream,2 oz snack pack cashews, dried chile mango large pomegranate juice

Dinner-=queso relleno con carnitas burrito and a pina colada

Snack=milkshake :1 cup haagen daazs chocolate peanut butter,1 cup 2% milk (to water it

down, sliced banana on top and a nature valley granola bar (haha I HAD to bring me my haagen daazs to mexico, it is so good)

my goal for mexico was to have fun and I did, I had a heck of a blast. I relaxed. I also noticed that if I was late for eating or I skipped a snack I became very irritable towards my parents but after I ate I was very VERY full and bloated anyways I weigh at a solid 108-109 lbs. I have gained five pounds of muscle and fat since august 18th. I did strength training in Mexico as well. I accompanied my father to the gym, did a ten minute aerobic warm-up the rest was devoted to weights. Also upon returning from mexico I was actually 112 lbs. but I put myself on maintenenace scince I was not counting calories I was unsure of how much to cut down to and ate 2500 and lost 3pounds, I then upped it to 2800 and seem to just stay around the 108-109 range for the last week. I now eat anywhere from 2600-2800 sedentary (I know it’s a really big range but Im trying to figure out my body right now) im also aware that my metabolism will slow down a bit and wont always be this fast(thank god). My weight still may be considered low for being 5’6 but I have never weighed more then 118, and right now I am comfortable and eating enough. If my weight chooses to go up eating this amount then so be it, if not then so be it as well. I also bike 30 minutes every other day and walk 30 minutes every day. I strength train 20 minutes 3 times a week, and I eat back my calories. Gaining weight was actually very comfortable in mexico. In an enviorment I felt most at home at. This is the best thing I have done for myself. I highly encourage everyone to keep on keeping on.

*sorry if there are any errors in typing this, im doing a quick update at work*

-best of luck and wishes to all!-MEESH
