I ate beef and broccoli for lunch, alot of it. I have NO CLUE what the calories in it could have been (didn't care at the moment because it was so good) but it was a pretty big portion. Any one have any ideas? I looked it up but honestly couldn't get anything I thought was accurate. With white rice and that greasy salty wonderful sauce in it I guesstimated 1000....help!
I just ate beef w/broccoli myself - but I made it. With a half cup of rice it's only 300 calories (sez the recipe analyzer here).
Don't diss the Chinese food - it can be done healthfully!
Oh I know it can done the right way, but I totally went to the other end and just ordered it from the joint down the street....
Don't feel bad the other day I destroyed like a whole carton of Triple Delight, My favorite, it is just too good to pass up some days...
According to Panda Express....a 5.5 ounce serving has 150 calories. You probably had at least 2. When I order a pint from a chinese restaurant that is equivalent to 3 servings. The rice is just steamed rice so estimate how many cups you had.
Even if you eat an entire pint, plus a cup of rice, you would have less than 700. If you ate a bunch more rice, well then, live and learn!
Do you think that Thai food is lower cal or more healthy than Chinese? The sauces are lighter.
Love the seshuan beef... not sure of the spelling, but there must be sooooo much salt in it that I gain 2 pounds the next morning after eating. I am sure it is from all the salt though as it comes off the day after that!
Love it! Haven't had it in weeks!
