oooh my mum used to make one, it was like extra light philadephia with sugar free jelly mixed in, and condensed milk. i think she put splenda in aswell. il ask her for the recipe :)

1/2 cup boiling water
1 packet unflavored gelatin (5 cals)
1.5 tbsp cocoa powder (25 cals)
2 packets splenda (0 cals)
1.5 teaspoons almond extract (0 cals)
2 cups fat-free cottage cheese (320 cals)

So the whole thing adds up to only 345 calories, and will make about 10 servings, I'm guessing, for 35 calorie a slice cheesecake!  woooo!
And my dad, who loves the crust, is just going to put his slice on top of a graham cracker, which adds about 20 cals, so still only 55 cals.

I saved it in a word doco after I got it from someone on this site.

Its love, You can eat half that thing and be under 200 calories AWESOME! if I do say so myself >)

OOOOH I am so excited! I have just about every one of those ingredients in my pantry right now..even the graham crackers..which I have to say I enjoy my crust as well so I may just measure them out and crumble in the bottom..minus the usual butter added :0). Even at 55 cals a slice what a bargain!!!!Thank you so much!

I have a similar receipe....not on me, but it has lemon jell-o instead of gelatin and no chocolate, and I blend the cottage cheese so it's nice and smooth ( I feel like you may too)...it's totally delish with fresh fruit on it (although, chocolate and fruit are a pretty good pair too)

this isnt exactly like cheese cake... its kinda a cross between creme brulee and cheesecake i think

Berry Custard

1/3c sugar

1 egg

1T flour

2t cornstarch

1/2t vanilla

4oz low-fat cream cheese, cut in small pieces

2c raspberries or blackberries

1/4c packed brown sugar

In Med saucepan combine sugar, egg, flour, and cornstarch. Add milk and vanilla.  Bring to boil over med heat whisking constantly. Cook and stir 5-7 min, Til thickened. Pour into a bowl

Add cream cheese, stir 2 min. Cover and refridgerate 30 min or til cooled.

Preheat broiler. Pour into 6-4oz custard cups. Top w berries. Press into the custard. Broil 2 min. Sprinkle w brown sugar and set aside til sugar melts.

174 Cal for 1/6th 4.5 g fat

Its soooo yummy! and really rich tasting! IT takes less time than it looks lol, only about 10 min put together, w a half hour between for chilling.

thermal..I am guessing that jello is the sugar free lemon...even a lime one might be tasty as well or even raspberry..the possibilities are endless!! My question though is if using the flavored jello as opposed to the unflavored kind would there be a need for splenda..my guess is no..but you never know? IF you do a fruity variety you lower the calorie content even more..removing the cocoa powder..extra bonus!

fyrfli- that sounds yummy too..may have to try that as well. I am intrigued by the cottage cheese recipe though sounds like it would have great cheesecake texture and SO low on the calories!!!

One more question here for a-tizzle...how do I prepare it..jello or gelatin in the boiling water obviously...then add other ingredients to that beat it and refrigerate? Thanks so much to everyone for the recipes !
