Weight loss graph

I'm a little bit confused about the weight loss graph. Why is there a blue and green line? I've only been using CC for a few days and I can't seem to find the answer anywhere! Thanks for any help!

The blue line is your actual weight and the green line is your "trend." So sometimes if you weight a couple pounds more one day, the green line will still be headed down in the right direction.

the one that isnt always with your weight is "trend" its pretty accurate, for me anyway, about where i am because i guess weight fluctuates when you weigh yourself (water weight etc) i think it also has to do with what you put in CC (when i quit putting calories in it stopped going down but i was still losing weight). like the computer projecting your weight loss. thats what i always thought someone can correct mme if im wrong

The green line (aka trend line) is the average of the last ten weights you entered.  Essentially, it tells you whether you're losing (if it slopes down), gaining (if it slopes up) or maintaining (if it's flat) which can be hard to tell if your weight fluctuates a lot.

Because it's an average of old weights, the number tells you about what you weighed five weigh-ins ago so, unless you weigh daily or are in maintenance, the actual numbers of the green line won't mean much.

Laura, after entering the "update" area there is a question mark.  It talks about the green trend line.
