Ok, so I'm new to this forum thing so please bear with me as I learn the ins and outs of posting.

I'm female and 36 and I've got a lot of weight to lose. My goal is to lose 100 pounds but considering how overwhelming that number is, right now I'd be happy if I lost at least 50-60 pounds.

I look forward to meeting new friends, sharing information, advice and just normal everyday life issues we all deal with on a daily basis.

Welcome Ducky (cute ID by the way!)

I suggest that you set yourself mini goals, that way you keep yourself motivated by reaching each mini goal, rather than getting frustrated that your end goal is so far away.

Thank you for your well wishes. I feel confident with all of the support on these forums I will acheive my goal.

I really like the idea of mini goals, it seems like such a simple (albeit great) idea and I don't know why I never thought of it.
