What is the meaning of devastation…. ?

......... reading the back of a box of Kraft Dinner and realizing it pretty much has 1000 calories/box.

  is life worth living?  (joking).

What food have you had to have a pity party over not being able to consume (in perhaps the same quantities you used to)?

finding out my favourite subway footlong is almost my entire calorie allowance!! (1200cals) Meatball sub if you must ask :)

finding out that my "healthy" honey mustard chicken salad from Quiznos was over 1000 calories :( But it has lettuce in it! lol I'm so glad I joined CC and learned what is REALLY healthy

Oooo Ooooo! I made YUM-O 300 calorie creamy mac and cheese the other day.

2.5 oz ronzoni smart taste pasta, around 3/4 cup cooked spaghetti squash (seriously it bulked it up and just tasted like pasta when mixed in), 1 laughing cow (of course, ha!), 1 fat free cheese slice.  I just cooked the pasta and then (in the same pan ;) added the drained pasta, squash and melted the cheeses over medium low....so creamy and yum! (I think I added a little parmesean now that I think about it).

My heartbreaker: "real" chips and salsa.

Veggie Sub frmo Quizzno's

The Kraft Helper meals (tuna, chicken, and hamburger)....I even tried using ground turkey in the Hamburger Helper and it still wasn't enough......

That chicken pot pie from Marie Callanders that I used to like eating is 1100.  (The try to hide the fact by telling you that there two servings in a single pie.  Who eats 1/2 a pie?)  I sure won't be eating them any more.

Yep, me too, and flour tortillas.  There is virtually no nutritional value in my favorite tortillas just empty calories and sodium.

Finding out that my tortiallas were 200 calories each...

Finding out that my "lite" refried beans were 350 cal. a serving...

Finding out that my breakfast bars were 400 cal. each (*2* servings per bar...WTF???)

Finding out that I won't be eating that much cheese......

Check out Old El Paso's Fat Free beans! :) I adore them, 90 cal per serving

Being from Buffalo, New York, my biggest downfall is chicken wings, of course!  I'm pretty sure those are the worst diet busters for me.

Ha, I just thought of this, I went to college in Rochester, New York, and there is a local popular "drunk" food there called a Garbage Plate.  It's a hamburger, homefries, and macaroni salad all mixed together with chili meat sauce.  Absolutely delicious, but they're estimated to have over 3500 calories.  That's a whole friggin pound!

movie theatre popcorn.

When my parents came home with a slab of ripe, rich brie.

I'm recently-diagnosed lactose intolerant.

CRUD.

Take 4 lactaid. you'll be fine.

finding out that a lot of the things i used to eat actually had two servings per one of the servings i eat :P

Lol, the Kraft Macaroni was mine too. I tried to kid myself that if I used skim milk and extra low fat butter substitutes (like flora diet or reduced fat olive spread) it was ok, but its really not.... I still have it occassionally though, or I have macaroni, cooked, drained and returned to the pot, with 1 beaten egg and two finely chopped slices of smoked bavarian cheese. Stir thoroughly to coat the past, then return to a very low heat and stir constantly until the cheese has melted and the egg has thickened but not scrambles. This is actually delicious. You have to be really careful with the heat though - too high and you just have scrambles pasta, but if you get it right its creamy and lovely and comparative low in cals (since its a tiny amount of cheese, and I'm sure you could use egg sub, but we can't get it here in the UK and I hate to throw away yolks, it feels like a sinful waste!!!).

That cakes, donuts, coockies are loaded in trans fat :_( I love sweet,

That eating too much ice cream and chocolate in one day will end in mi hips next morning

I realized recently just how much wheat pasta and rice I ate in one meal before CC and it was shocking.   Cannot do that anymore.  Even whole wheat pasta and brown rice-they are all so high in calories and do not keep me full for long enough.

I used to think nuts were good for you.. even covered in chocolate and eating the whole bag.. lol. It was dissapointing but not suprising to learn that nope, not so healthy, haha.

But btw you probebly already have heard or thought of this but Annies makes a 'healthier' alternative to Kraft mac n' cheese and if you only eat one serving and bulk it up with veggies like brocolli and some kind of protein (I really enjoy canned all white chicken in mine) it's really not too bad. Calorie wise..

http://www.annies.com/naturalmacandcheese
Theres a few choices of different kinds mostly around 270 calories..

So :
Mac n cheese : 270 calories
3 oz brocolli : 30 calories
2 oz canned white chicken breast in water : 50

Total is : 350 calories and healthier than Kraft, not to mention more filling because the veggies/chicken make it a bigger portion and with the added protein, more filling (:
