Congratulations on your weight loss so far. What is your daily calorie intake and what calorie deficit do you have?
There may be many reasons for this but asuming you are doing everything the same as before i would recommened a change or inclusion of a new exercise. Also always try to push yourself that little bit extra(Not implying that your not) but i find that increasing the intensity or lenght of time i exercise every month or so can give your body that extra push and keep you on track towards your goal
well, if "you are doing everything the same as before" that might actually be the problem. Obviously as you lose weight your burn meter will adjust. So you have to take that in consideration because now that same deficits you had when u started the diet aren't producing as much gains for u. But I do agree you should add some new exercises. Best way to lose fat is through interval training and resistance lifting neither of which you're doing. Those will produce significant results in shorter times, but of course much more painful and energy consuming.
Strength training will make you look more toned and will increase your lean muscle--and muscle burns more cals than other tissue, especially fat! So your BMR will increase somewhat. It is a small but ongoing difference and, because you will look better and feel better, it's a good thing to do! Go to the fitness forum and ask Melkor about it if you need more info.
