Is that stuff really good for you or not? Does it help the metabolism? I had one the other day and it wasnt too bad. |

Green Tea is good for you, but that Lipton stuff is filled with tons of artificial stuff, which is not good for you. I like this one: It has nothing artificial added. Although it is not sweat, it is good. |

Any diet drink is bad for you. Every artificial sweetener has ill effects on the human body... even splenda. They've had cases were splenda actually causes problems with the thyroid gland, which can slow down your metabolism and make you gain weight. And since the sugar isn't real it's hard for the body to recognize what it is and digesting it is hard too. The only safe sugar substitute is stevia, which is actually just an herb or something, so it's all natural.

green Tea bag + hot water = green tea + No calories - no additives. I swear by the stuff. I go for it plain, but others like a little sugar or honey and/or lemon. |

I love the stuff too, but It isn't "healthy". It's 0 calories tho. I actually don't drink them anymore. I was drinking them daily for the caffeine. I have stopped drinking caffeine as much as I was. Trying to eliminate all toxins from my system now. |

Everyone is right, they aren't that good for you. But, if your like me and your going from drinking 3 16 oz bottles of Mt Dew a day to drinking 3 16 oz bottles of the diet tea, your probably doing your body a favor. |

I know green tea is good for you because of all the antioxidants. I'm not sure if the drink really has any impact (rather is be positive or negative) on a diet. I drink like one bottle a day and I love it! It gives me something to look forward to when I get sick of water. |
