Where Did My Weight Go?!?! zaiitz3
  Jul 23 2008 16:41
Alright, this is NOT a complaint, more of a confusion.

So, a week ago I was 154. Ok? This weekend I went up to Buffalo to see my boyfriend, so I didn't weigh myself throughout the weekend. Next time I weighed myself was on Tuesday, and I was 151.7. Not TOO extreme. Today, I weighed myself and I was all the way down to 148.7. WHAT? *HAPPINESS*. BUT, my scale was frozen from being under the air conditioner all night, and it's glass, so could that have made a difference? I'm hoping that's not the case, by the way. :)

1) More activity?

2) Less sodium?

3) Possibly you've visited the bathroom recently?

Maybe just life that everyone's weight always fluctates a little up or down and mo one always weighs the exact same amount at all times.

The same thing happens to me all the time.  I will stay at or near the same weight for days or weeks even though I'm eating at a deficit of 500-1000 cal's.  And then, all of a sudden, the weight falls off of me.  Usually, it's the week or two before TTOM.  Last month I lost about 10 lbs. over the course of about 2 weeks.  I think it's a combination of fat loss and water weight just dropping off at once.  It's very nice when that happens :)  Good luck with your goals!

You think that's extreme, I had a weight fluctuation of 6 pounds in the last 2 days.

I know that in my case most of the loss was water weight.

My scale can drive me crazy too. Last Thursday I weight myself & I was exactly the same like the Friday before. Then I weight myself on Friday & I had lost 3 lbs in one day. Crazzzzzzzzzyyyyy Scaleeeee! :)

I haven't weighed myself in almost a month because my scale is RIDICULOUS! I can't trust it anymore. One day it will say I'm 100 pounds, then the next day it will say I'm 120 (I know for a fact that I am NEITHER of those weights!)

So it's just sitting in the corner gathering dust now. I'm starting to rely on my "instinct"

Maybe you should do that too. Do you FEEL lighter? Do you see ANY noticeable weight loss?
