| Wanted to Binge...But overcame the cravings ! :D | ||

I know that this topic is random to most of you, however, I just wanted to celebrate my "overcomming" of one obstacle in my life. I have been struggling with Binge Eating Disorder for about a year and a half now, and the cravings have been extremely brutal. this morning when I woke up, I wanted to Binge really bad. I was planning outu what I wanted to eat in advance, and everything. But I ended up distracting myself on purpose, and the cravings went away. YAAAAAAAAYYYY!! I am one step closer to acheiving my goal. |

Congrats to you! That's great! I've been struggling with binge eating disorder as well, and I still have my slip-ups here and there. But it's been exactly two weeks since my last binge! |

That's so awesome! Although I don't personally suffer from BED, I do totally understand the power of cravings and the desire to binge. I had a few days in which I would let myself binge (relatively small binges, but horrible nonetheless) before making myself throw up. Luckily I was able to pull myself out of it and found a MUCH healthier way to lose weight. I've stuck to my plan all summer, and I've lost about 20 pounds doing so. I know how amazing it feels when you overcome a craving- and you deserve tons of praise! It's not easy to tell your mind and body to stop doing something, especially when it's something you love to do!! Keep it up, there's a light at the end of the tunnel, I promise! |

yes! moents like this actually tech us HOW to overcome the cravings next time, and even if one gives in to temptation sometimes, it is sort of easier later on, when we have developed strategies to cope... |

Congrats!!! I eat well most of the time...but I tend to binge on weekends, and self sabotage myself this way! I know the willpower it takes to overcome it!!! keep it up!!! |
